The black ops 3 weapon system was the best. It let you pick your own attachments and level them up at your own pace

@@scottymemes9264 yeah the thing is those weapons are damn near worthless past round 35 and then you have to rely on dead wire fireworks thunderwall which will take you hours just to get to round 50 in Cold war you almost can use every weapon in that game to get to round 50 easily except for those damn snipers they are still trash in cold war zombies
It would be nice to have a “hardcore” or “OG” mode where there’s no weapon rarity, you start with a pistol, no crafting table, no armor station, etc.
That's crazy. They gotta keep the game easy so all the noobs will keep playing and spend money in the shop.

Separating the maps into two modes, Normal and OG.
Og you only start with the pistol, no weapon rarities and no perks upgrades(unless it’s an Easter egg)
Normal, basically cold war zombies stuff since Vanguard F%#ked it up and Cold Wars was perfect for casual and noob players.
Yeah yeah say it’s bad but it’s the only zombies by cod friends actually enjoyed to play with and the only where i managed to do the easter egg with them.

I’ve been playing zombies since WAW and what are you talking about zombies having a cartoony feel? That only started in Bo3 and Bo4. Zombies has always been gritty and dark since the beginning. Nacht Der Untoten wasn’t cartoony neither was Kino

to be honest i adore the aesthetic of cold war, with the whole idea of regular soldier guys learning about and dealing with horrors beyond their comprehension, but you're right about how they need to lean more into the fantastical elements of zombies with how inherently silly the mode is

His story was all over the place and turned zombies from a story about nazi experiments and horror .To fantasy aliens and multiverses.he made good maps and ee but story wise I wouldn’t say it was good.ganeplay yes he was good but unfortunately guy failed with deviation so oh well
Regarding the wall and Mystery Box weapons... Why not do what BO4 did and allow you to put attachments on those weapons from the box and wall... That worked well in my opinion.
But since you can start with a weapon that all the attachments you need.it makes the others redundant.why waste your time on a wall weapon when you can start with a shotgun

@@MercysNo.1 well guess what you didn’t have to use anything other than a pistol in cw.everything was optional .i only used a pistol ,4 perks and I didn’t upgrade the perks or rarity’s.always used the rampage inducer to make the game difficult.
They should have an option to buy your load out weapon for like 7500 or 10000 while in the game

@georgefranco7900 I think he's referring to not starting round 1 with your load out weapon with chosen attachments. Instead, can work up points to buy your customized load out weapon at some point in the game.

@@JulioHernandez-vi9to I'm going to have to disagree with you there. During the past few years zombies it hasn't been just a simple and cut story of change. It's been a story of a quality of change and how we went from BO3 to BO4 and so on.
I will say this and I will say this again BO4 and the other game moves aren't bad it's just it's very disappointing with the amount of content they had. With Bo4 we were supposed to have custom mutations and other editions, but that never got through. In Cold war the game we started all pretty well, but then it was rushed with just Cold war it was rushed with just Cold war it was rushed with just outbreak being a part of the map cycle when some people want outbreak in round base zombies which we do technically got but the round base was past due in the last map was just a recycled map of the campaign.
Are we going to really say that vanguard was a nice change? remember that game mode the game mode that don't even have a pause screen nor even a wonder weapon at its launch
And then with modern warfare zombies is just DMZ but with zombies In treyarch stopped working on that months later.
So the argument of just simply change I highly disagree with that due to the fact that we have been disappointed time and time again when treyarch had new content like Cold war and even BO4 there's a game there but you have to run through with it.
With BO3 we got a full cycle with no interruptions by Activision an extra DLC for zombies content Kevin Sherwood music for all maps, and even cinematic music videos yet for some reason we never had any of that at all in the past over games.
Yea i somewhat agree.. and an unpopular opinion is i wish they would of expanded on the chos story with those characters

Cold War ruined a lot of the vibe for me in zombies. The ugly hud, the character interactions through the radio, scrap, the style and storytelling. Cold War just felt so uninteresting and boring compared to black ops 3 (even 4 somewhat). You can tell that these are completely different devs working on this.
Trying to level up multiple weapons in one game makes it fine to start with whatever gun you want, you still have to spin the box to get guns you haven’t leveled up yet

@@GrapefruitMcgilicuddy Yes because exp gains are significantly decreased in the higher rounds and there's no reason to spend time hitting the box when you can just restart the game and pick the gun you want. Also most people don't play just to level up guns, at least not in the past.

I think you are wrong about the feel look of bo1+2 they were realistic and gritty not cartoon like bo3 and I think that and gobblegum are the only issues with bo3 stopping it being the best zombies game.

Why is that such a bad thing? BO3 would be a lot better as that was peak zombies but Cold War zombies I liked too, they just need to change a few things that didn't work in CW and refine it in BO6.

I'm pretty sure in George Romero's Day of the Dead, Land of the Dead, Diary of the Dead all had military, pretty much based around military, the father of the entire zombies world prefered military over goofyness
Imagine they have a set crew in liberty falls where you play as Eddie and then maybe some survivors or CIA operatives or something and it introduces us to a new set crew that might oppose weaver and his crew. That was just a cool little thing that I wish could happen
They could fix the loadouts by just making it like bo4 where there was a couple different guns you could use, but not all of them. This would also explain the 5th (red) tier of guns.
I like the dark and gritty vibe. For me black ops 1/2 and 3/ Cold War zombies was amazing.
Does the BO6 have a round base zombie mode?
I think people hate the feeling and art style of Cold War so much because Activsion started forcing treyarch to make cods similar to warzone, but not on the same engine so it’s just weird. Bo6 is on the modern warfare engine so I’m betting it’s gonna feel and look great.
My problem with the newer cods is that they all feel the same and look identical. Compared to the past where each game had its own look and feel.
Just get rid of cold war loadout system and use bo3 thats it very simple lol i don't understand why people don't understand how to make these features useful with this system.
I want to be able to put on attachments on whatever gun we want like In Cold War but yeah keep the starting lvl with the 1911. And for us use the attachments we need to buy it out from wall buy or the box if a gun is dropped from the crystals you should only be able to remove the scope with a custom animation. That would be dope
Or even to go buy attachments that would be crazy
@markstewart4282 have you not played the older BO games? In both 3 and 4 you have an armory where you deck out all unlocked weapons to your desire.

And that's a Kevin Drew thing so I wouldn't be surprised it comes back in this game but they just need to get her away from that entirely. I know they sell bundles and stuff but bo3 had a better system and you can put those blueprints that they really want in the armory you can still use them like in bo4 so it's a win-win and I don't understand why Activision thinks of the loadouts rather than the old Black ops. 3 and 4 system
I do hope that for everyone’s first game on terminus you automatically play as the set characters because then hopefully that way people will lean more into the idea of having set characters as in my opinion it makes the game 10x more emissive that was one thing that always took me out off Cold War and why i found myself going back to old zombies was not having actual characters

What they really need is the black ops 1 and 2 start off, no starting off with upgrades, the point of zombies was to grind and try to complete the Easter egg, it’s pointless to start off with upgrades cause then it will get boring.
See the issue with that is bo3 started the trend of being op .and it’s to the point that 98% of the community will not survive a 3 hit down and 4 perks.and if they scale it down the community will complain .But the irony is either way Cold War was all optional you didn’t have to start op and you didn’t need to grab all perks.everything was scaled to the player.is it amazing no but it’s good
The main thing that has me worried is the fact that its quite possibke the mode will still feel quite warzone-like as it did in cokd war, you can say whatever you want about the lacklustre maps and the ease of the game and easter eggs , but for me thar was by far my biggest issue.. zombies has always been vastly different to other cod modes and i really hope they go back to that
My only fear about the game is to be like coldwar engine or gameplay 😊trash. if that happen, i will keep playing old zombies black ops 3.

I enjoyed mw3 for what it is .As a long time player you get bored of how stale round base gets.cw brought a lot of fans so we can sit here and complain but the game achieved a great following .the people complaining it’s too easy are the ones not using the rampage inducer and are running. My main worry is the maps. I'm not overly excited about the launch maps from everything we have heard, especially about the town map that is also a MP map. One of the reasons I loved bo4 was because of how unique and cool the maps where. Given the development time this one had, I hope the DLC maps will have some character to them and hopefully not just another part of the campaign or MP zombified.
I don't understand why they cannot loop this story and connect it to the original storyline. Eddie eg is having flashbacks of a past life and has knowledge that it was all a mistake. The past crew did it all wrong and by killing themselves reset the balance of the universe. Eddie has all previous knowledge and knows of the time travel teleporter and wants to go back and change all the mistakes with the original crew because the dark ether will destroy everything . If the story was on this line i think we would all be thrilled. Even if they added an original mode gor completing all the easter eggs so you could play the new maps with just the old perks would be a great bonus and reward. Wishful thinking i guess

Was the Re-Introduction of Vurruckt Sprinters, and the Lifting of the Spawn Cap from 24, to 60 or whatever the hell it is.
I even Prefer WW2 Moreso nowadays over Bo3 and Prior.
The "Change" in WW2 Zombies was the Inclusion of Special Zombies being just Standard Foes, akin to HellHounds on Der Reise and Der Eisendrache.
And the *Problem* with WW2 on Launch was the fact that Wustling Spawns weren't originally Capped to 2 at a time in Solo.
So you could in Theroy get a whole Horde of like 36 Wustlings back in the day. (See some of JR. RIZZO's old Posts)
What BROKE Cold War was the INTENSELY FAST Spawn-Rates, akin to Bo4, but with the Weapon Progression and Damage Rates similar to EXO ZOMBIES of all things!

If you look at the multiplayer pics from bo6 it still has the Cold War style and element, so bo6 zombies is going be like Cold War zombies, not BO4 or 3. And this game shouldn’t suck because Treyarch had 4 years to develop bo6, having all time to create their game despite the two letdowns they made (vanguard zombies and MWZ). We’ll see how this game plays out.
As long as warzone is alive every cod will revolve around it and suck ass

Cold War zombies was horrible they just need to go back to what work. Get rid of salvage system as well as weapon rarity’s. Just give us good maps with a good story line and bring it back to how it was in Bo3 and bo4

Kino already exists. If you want to play it, it’s there for you. We should be asking for development time to be spent on new experiences that provide even more fun than anything we’ve seen before.
I think operators were actually good. I do like set crews but making some maps use operators will allow them to make dlc free. Like in cold war.
BO3 Zombies story had way too much going on in my opinion.
WaW kept it simple and much better. Its Naze* Zombies. Keep it rooted in history of our planet. Im not a fan of Sci-Fi fantasy crap. The story meant nothing due to all of it just being random craziness.

black ops 6 will be aligned with cod hq as well, dont expect anything to be different but the movement, gobblegums are gonna be microtransactional through gum packs, Dark aether should be considered a side piece to MW instead, Dark Aether doesnt even meet the characteriztion that was portrayed in the older zombies
