- First of all, I've never ever played slide before. You can probably tell by my inability to stay in tune during slide parts :)
Man, slide is hard to play and make it sound good, need to practice a lot on that part!!
I think the rest turned out ok after all.

Awesome job overall, great bends on the solo and excellent timing on the riffs during the solo! Yes, landing right on with a slide can be difficult, but you did a good job actually, so like you said, just a little more practice with the slide and you've got it down. Thanks for sharing this.

After seeing this video I actually decided to go to guitar center and try out an ernie ball axis. I loved it. I tried a gibson, PRS, some ibanez, and the ernie ball, and it was by far my favorite in terms of feel and sound. I'm going to buy one because this video gave me the idea, so thanks. They really are amazing you've got to try one if you guys haven't. Especially if you're a fairly advanced player. Nothing less will do.

Al Dimeola came one time to Berklee College Of Music and when asked how he keeps his guitars in tune. Simple Spring Tension+String Tension. I take out the 2nd and 4th springs

the playing is amazing, but what I can't get over is how good the guitar sounds. My god. It literally sounds better than the original song. You're got one of the best set-ups I've ever heard. I can never get a sound like that. Then again, I have a shitty guitar.

I like that cut-down slide. Good playing.
God I love this song. You sound really good. Solo sounded awesome and the slide wasn't that bad either. Personally, I like picking the notes out versus using the slide for this song, but regardless, it still sounded pretty sweet. Also, you've matched the FX pretty well; better than those Line6 amps that come with the "No More Tears" setting in the song bank, if I say so myself.

Absolutely amazing dude. This is the song that got me obsessed with guitar. The tab book I learned from, ( I’m not good) the slide was on the pinky so it doesn’t need to be removed. I never play it with the slide anymore. You are awesome bro! Great cover!

If you tune the E down to D, the riff itself and the squeal at the end of the verse riff is much deeper.

its called a pinch harmonic, where you play the string and as soon as the pick hits the string, your thumb immediately follows, within a split second, all in one motion
