Hello everyone, have a great first day of the week...! A wonderful day for me, I want to share with you a very familiar dish, a dish of chicken patties, made from chicken and eggs and accompanying ingredients including dried onions, garlic and onions. leaves to create a more delicious flavor for the dish. I prepared this dish at the farm and shared it with the children. The children were very interested in this dish. All those eggshells will be great for your garden! You can dry them, crush them, and sprinkle them around before putting down grass clippings and so forth. Or scrape them into the soil directly as you're tilling new places to plant.

What did you do with the chicken bones? They could have been boiled to make a wonderful chicken stock to use with your mustard greens in a soup.
What did you do with the egg shells? They could have been rinsed well, dried and heated to kill germs, then pounded to powder and worked into your garden soil to add calcium to the soil. Or, I guess, after pulverized, they could have been given back to chickens as a grit.
Just some things to consider.
Having watched these two for a while, I'm guessing that the shells were put into the soil. The hillside soil looks to be reasonably good at this point, but the soil of the valley farm is still being built up, especially around the trees. Though the two farms are fairly far apart. It might not be worth the trouble of sending the shells to Duong. Duong's chickens feed a lot on random bugs and snails on top of the corn meal. I'm betting that they don't really need the supplementing.
@@bearnaff9387 The point of the inquiry was to enlighten and hope that she just didn’t let them go to waste. I have watched both since they started their RUclips channels, I am not a new subscriber. Since Hoang did not mention anything about using the eggs shells or bones, my inquiry was directed to Hoang to answer, not to a viewer to answer for or defend her.
@@munchkin5674 That makes sense. I've been watching these two channel for a few years as well. (I never watched Hoang's Primitive Life channel, though. I need to dig that one up.)
One thing I've personally had to get used to with them is that if I think of an idea, it's almost certain that they have already thought of it. If they aren't doing something I think of as obvious, there's almost always a good reason. I still share ideas and whatnot, but we are talking about the king and queen of the weird little Viet Nam primitive homesteading subgenre. If they don't pick up a trick, it's not because they missed it.
I also thought about, and commented on, making stock from the bones. TBH, I assumed Hoang didn't do anything with them due to a lack of time and manpower. The bones probably ended up in her freezer (if she has one) in the village, or were cooking over a low heat at home while she fed the kids after picking up her girls.
@@bearnaff9387 As far as I know this young lady never had a primitive skills channel of her own. Her husband Duong, has the Primitive Skills channel and she has this one. She did take care of Duong’s farm and video content for what might have been a month while he got over a back injury. After Duong returned to his farm is when Hoang went out and laid claim to some land to start her own farm and RUclips channel.
At one time, a few years ago, Duong mentioned that his sister had started a RUclips channel. I forget what it is called. I assume she is still making videos. I think her “farm” wasn’t too far from Duong’s, but I might be mistaken about this. Something else… Someone said that Duong saying that it was his “sisters” RUclips channel didn’t necessarily mean that this lady was really his sister. Hmmmm… 🤷♀️
@@munchkin5674 I cannot say for certain, but @survivalskills7184 directs people to the same paypal account and definitely looks like Hoang. It also stopped uploading just before she got this new farm.

The chicken patties do look very delicious. Wondering what the ingredient proportions would be if only using 1 chicken? Is there a substitute for the lemon leaves?
Curious… in Duong’s latest video he was lifting a couple of his roosters to see how heavy and big they were. Are these chickens you used in this recipe from his flock of chickens?
The egg yolks had a nice deep orange color, good quality eggs. Were the eggs also from Duong’s farm too?
You caught that too? If these weren't chickens from the valley farm, I would not be surprised if either Duong or Hoang had made a visit to the market to sell off the extra birds.

Well, Hương, I have indeed made something like the chicken omelette. About half a chicken with 8 eggs and some chopped onion (I had no other vegetables at hand). I also had no oil, so I used regular margarine for frying. Now I too know from personal experience why those kids love the chicken omelette: DELICIOUS!😋😋😋 Thank you for coaxing me into making a wonderful meal!🥰🥰👍👍👍 (Please refrain from trying to make STILL BETTER videos; they are already TOO GOOD!😃😃)
