I totally get what are you trying to achieve with your hair. I've been cold blonde for years, and my natural color is pretty much same as yours, I am growing it out and at times it can look sooo "contrasy" to my blonde parts, and my natural hair starts annoying me and I wanna get it all blonde again, but then I am like I wanna natural look, no high maintenance habits, etc. In my opinion you would look gorgeous with full natural hair colour and it will suit the vibe you sre going for and make you feel more rooted in yourself, I don't know how to explain it hahaha

But I also have to admit that the blonde hair u had with those bangs... girl it looked badass. So I know what u mean and why u r in-between those two hairstyles and colors. But maybe u should get use to ur new hairstyle.
I think it's always hard to change hairstyles because the change once made becomes irreversible. You really have to have some courage (ahahahah) to make a radical change because it is a detail that, although superficial, totally changes your image.
