- Remember the 1961 Volvo that we recently bought for $6,000? Well someone that lives locally got in touch with us and wants to buy it before we start slicing and dicing it. Come to find out he has the same Volvo but in rougher shape. He doesn't have the time or resources to work on his which is why he's interested in ours since it's now a running, stopping and driving car. So we came to take a look at his. He's willing to give us $6,000 plus his car which means we get to break even and get a car for free. Gotta love it when the stars align ✨

What a WONDERFUL outcome for everyone. What you guys have now down, by doing a deal like that, is to make every single person happy.
If there is anyone who isn't over this deal, then they are a disrespectful keyboard warrior.
The gentleman gets a working original car. The same as his first. You get a car that needs work. The absolute best way to keep the purists happy and the custom guys happy.
This almost brought tears to me. You always offer to people that don't want cars customised to buy them. This was very touching. Everyone truly gets a good deal. You never asked for more then you paid which is also a way of showing respect to the other gentleman.
You continue to show how truly special you guys are. I have always had a lot of love and respect for you both. All this does, is reinforce to me, that I chose a wonderful couple to follow on their life's journey. We can all learn so much from you both. ❤

Hi Chad and Jolene, It sounds like a great deal for both parties, but please make sure that your white car gets a good once over by Nate before the other fellow collects it. He expects to daily drive it and his ill health means he doesn't expect to do much or anything to it. Keep up the fine work.

You have a workable Bad Chad Project and your investment back to boot. Also with your kindness from the both of you . This gentle man has a running and driving summer driver to relive his young days. As long as got the automobile registration and the 6 K it's a decent deal for both parties. Also the Fans of Bad Chad will be pleased to see you customize the red Volvo . Super Nate will have the engine hopefully running in no time.

Happy to see this fella get a usable vehicle that he can enjoy. Poor health is a real bugger, it gets in the way of everything you want to do. He did give Chad the opportunity to look at the vehicle more closely and offered him the opportunity more than once. If Chad starts complaining about the condition of this car like he has in the past I think I may just give up on watching.
Great deal all around and that sweet survivor doesn't get chopped and gets a good home! The red one would make a great project and save you some grief if you chopped the other one!

Hey Chad & Jolene it's Friday! Chad that is a good deal I believe. It should make the people that did not see it cut up happy. Someone that really wants it gets it and you get a free car to work on so instead of starting at $6K you start at $0. I think that you are probably getting more than $1K in value. The important thing is that the deal makes you happy because as you will see when reading the comments that the trolls have already found away to be unhappy about it, LOL! Take the 61 Volvo and do whatever minimum work it needs and flip it, make your investment back plus a little something extra and do whatever custom plans you had on this one, let someone appreciate and enjoy the all original one 😉

They’re a great car. I have owned 7 volvos. My 740 wagon was solid as a rock. I had a P1800es that was great. They are almost as reliable as both of my air-cooled 911sc.

They got their 6 grand back for the white Volvo and a free older model with problems thrown as part of the bargain. On the face of it a good deal, but I recently saw a video featuring Queen Jolene where she said they would be looking to buy running and driving cars from now on.
I think you need some remedial math's classes, he got his $6K back and still has a car to be creative with, this exactly suits their marketing plan and appeases the whiners who did not want to see him cut it. It like his current project ( the 34 ) which he told everybody 6 months ago where it was and how much it was. Eli had no takers so they bought it now everybody is a hater because he is cutting it :)

Yes Chad has admitted on several occasions that he has no clue about engines But I did see Nate the other day spend a ridiculous amount of time on points the other day lol 😆 omitting a rotor button an trying to adjust the points the incorrect way 😉 🤣 but I still check out Chad nearly every day pretty entertaining 😉 car stuff 😉

Bad Chad Customs do not cut up the Volvo PV 544 instead rebuild to Rally Techs Circuit North Africa 1960 with original equipment and large hill climb time duration and that time clocked is the larger number decal on both doors of said Volvo. It's a time issue that calculated the winner 🏆
I would love to see you modifying this Volvo. This car is a cult in Denmark and Sweden. There are many customs there. It would be awesome seeing you there at some car meets.
I had a 59 Volvo in 1960 and I never will understand why I got rid of it other than no air. I surprised a lot of people the way it would run. I would love to have one now. I have enough to put it back on the road.

That is a smart deal , this fellow wanted a good driver and Chad wanted to modify a Volvo , better to customize one that needs work and leave the really solid one for someone to enjoy as an original . Small block V8 is a lot of work , go with a hot 4 cylinder to keep the weight off the front end !
