Thanks for your review it is helpful. We are traveling with my parents (both senior citizens) and our two little girls (ages 7 & 11). Can you tell me how are the shower and bathroom facilities? And if they are close to the wagons?
    Thanks!

The bathrooms are fairly close, depending on which wagon you stay in. The closest is about 10 yards away… the farthest one is maybe 50 yards or so away. There are a few steps at the bathrooms, up to the doors, but there are also steps for each wagon. As far as the bathrooms, i believe the one side of the building (facing the wagons) had full bathrooms (shower/sink/toilet), while the backside were just rooms with toilets and sinks. I cannot remember if the full baths were a tub/shower combo, or just a shower, but each bathroom was private (not just one big room full of stalls). And when we were there, they were well maintained and clean. Hope this helps… enjoy your trip!

Thank you for this review! Can you tell us how long the drive was from the ranch to the entrance of Grand Teton and how long the drive was to Yellowstone? Thanks!

The road you turn off of Hwy 26 to reach the ranch (Buffalo Valley Road), almost borders Grand Teton Nat’l Park on one side, and just a couple of miles from park boundary in the other direction. You can look at the map on the National Park website (www.nps.gov/grte). Heart Six Ranch is located in the “hook” of the map of the Eastern side of the park.
As far as how long of a drive it is to Yellowstone, it is 32.2 miles from the ranch to the south entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
Hope this helps you out, and you get to see these parks. They really are spectacular!

Hey Carter Chronicles, can you tell us more about the details of your stay? Specifically about the cleanliness of the ranch buildings, staff attitudes, owner attitude, and general experience from a customer service standpoint? I've been reading some really bad reviews online of this place.

We had a good experience. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. That being said, it is not a 5 star hotel. It is very rustic, but that is part of the experience. Also, for the price point that close to Grand Teton National Park, it was worth it to us. Hope that helps!

    How were the bathrooms?

They were pretty basic. Shower, toilet, sink, mirror. Bathrooms are shared with the rest of the folks staying in the wagons.

We’re staying there next week. Do they have bear bins or are bears not an issue?

How exciting! They don’t have bear bins that I am aware of. They ask that you keep everything that might tempt a bear, in your vehicle, and absolutely no food is allowed in the wagons. There are bears in the area, but as long as you follow the rules, you shouldn’t have any issues. Have fun!
