We take our Lance 825 Truck Camper to explore Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. We camped at Colter Bay Village, hiked to Taggart Lake, fished the Snake River, and took our paddle boards across String and Leigh Lakes, with a short portage trail in between. We enjoyed seeing the park from the water so much that we paddled out to the park’s iconic Oxbow Bend. Get ready for gorgeous sights, a double rainbow, glowing sunsets, and even a bear sighting!

I love the Grand Tetons. just beautiful Mountains . Lush surroundings . I would go back in a heart beat .
So would we! The scenery can’t be beat. We were already planning a return trip as we drove away 🤭
Just beautiful!! The Tetons are spectacular. You do such a wonderful job narrating for us. Great job. And yes I will be waiting for your next adventure. Thank you stay safe
Thank you so much!! This was a really fun one to put together. See you at our next adventure!
Your paddling adventure reminds me of when my wife and I were on a tandem kayak in Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. It was smooth as glass going into the bay but in the afternoon as we were exiting the narrow entrance to the bay the wind kicked up and the waves became pretty substantial. My wife was in front and had no idea how tough it was getting for me to to keep us moving. When we made the right turn out of the bay and headed south in the direction of the wind I was exhausted but fortunately that was when we started getting pushed along with the waves.
Oh wow! That sounds like quite an adventure! Glad you both were alright. Bet it was worth it, Lake Tahoe is beautiful!
Great video!! Makes us want to go back - we missed a lot. Jeri says hello. 👋
Thank you so much!! It makes us want to go back too 🙃 We really appreciate your extra support, you’ve helped us fill up quite a few gas tanks! Tell Jeri we said hi too! 👋
Good trip 😊😊😊
Thanks! It was fun!
Great video, I will be taking my truck camper to this area in late April! This video and the next one are wonderful previews for me.
Thank you! And how exciting!! Spring in the park will be beautiful! What kind of truck camper do you have?
Amazing scenery !! 🌵🌵A little something for the gas fund or doggie treats 🐶
Thank you!!! 🤗 We appreciate your support so much! We’ll make sure to get Hatch a special treat! We’d also love to thank you in our next video, if that’s okay with you?
@@thewaywedidit You guys have great content, glad to show my appreciation 🤣 And, you may thank me if you do choose to but not necessary 👊 See you next time 😎
Either your paddle boards are super stable or you guys are really good. Mine is wobbly and I can't barely stand on mine. I mostly straddle it and use it to fish on. Great video.
Thank you! We practiced a lot at home getting comfortable on our boards before this trip 🙂
Love your channel!! We are in Colorado Springs and are strongly considering changing from a travel trailer to an 825/850 truck camper. Your channel is helping us ALOT. One question, you have mentioned an inverter. I don't think either the 825 or 850 has the option for a factory installed inverter. Did you install an inverter yourself or have you found a work around? Can you share a little bit about that? I posted this question on a much older video, but I asked it again here in case you don't see comments on the older videos.
Thank you! And how exciting!! We purchased a Renogy 700W inverter and mounted it underneath the dinette seat. When we are not plugged into shore power, we can run all of our electronics off of it like TV and Starlink, but not the AC or microwave. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions!
where did you put in for oxebow? Cattleman's bridge? looking at google earth trying to figure it out? going this summer would love to do this
Yes Cattleman’s bridge. If you zoom into the map there’s a dirt road on the west side of Oxbow Bend that ends at the sandy beach where we entered the water. Have fun!!
Hello! Nice trip. It is so pretty. When did you film this? Is it before you got your Dog? I entered the area over that steep pass coming from the West. It was Spring so people were skiing backcountry. I need to go back.
Thanks! This was filmed in August, and was before we adopted Hatch. And how cool!! We have yet to do that drive but really want to!
Just found you and really enjoyed this video. Love your rig. We had a Chalet truck camper for several years and loved it. Will keep watching.
@@paulab984 thank you!! That’s an awesome truck camper! We are so happy you’re here! 🤗
@@thewaywedidit what time in August was this? We were there in August of 2022 when the lake levels were like this as well, I'm thinking around August 28th we were there? Would be a funny coincidence if around the same time.
@@garrettbernhagen7458 it was that very week!! How funny!
What a beautiful area 😍.
Nice work with the video and editing 👍
Thank you! ☺️ We are so happy you enjoyed it!
what time of year is this?
We were there in mid-August
