  • When I got this guitar, I just couldn’t believe the condition it was in. Everything works and all the parts are original. There is some static in the pots on the volume and tone controls but I think that’s from the lack of use since I set them both wide open all the time. The original Charlie Christian pickup is one of the best sounding pickups I’ve ever heard and it sounds great through any amp. But when paired with the amp it was made to be played through, it sounds perfect. It makes me think we haven’t made all that much progress in this field since this very first electric guitar was produced.

Only 23 ES-150 guitar made by Gibson in 1936, so a very rare bird indeed......!

Holy crap, the coloration of the tone is so transparent I LOVE IT. It’s so warm fat acoustic and jazzy

That IS the tone that resonates from within.

Had the amp and it was an amazing sound when I ran my 1957 Gretch 6125 single PU through it. Just a tad cleaner than the Gibson --Jammed with Tal Farlow and he used the same Gibson model and we shared his amp.

¿Está guitarra también sirve bien para tocar blues?
