This thing is absolutely amazing! It sounds like a freakin’ beast. I was a little surprised to see that it still has the same stance in the water even though that V8 has got to be maybe 2-3x heavier than the stock motor. Yamaha did good on buoyancy of the craft. Can’t wait to see more of it! Great work!

Thank you, I appreciate that. I do have a lot happening here in such a short amount of time, and I am grateful for that. What I don’t have any of though is free time or sleep haha 😂 all good though, because it’s worth it

Yep it was just easier for me to finish the rest of the work putting it together off camera. It was so much little stuff very tedious and not interesting at all. Like zip ties and wiring routing. And having the gear box retooled a little bit. 😂 I guess that’s kinda almost video worthy but really we were just setting it up so it could be double sealed where it mates up with the drive coupler. So not especially interesting in my estimation

With that kind of horsepower on tap, now it's time to work on the ideal impellor pitch! Lower RPMs with higher speed. I doubt it's possible to "over-prop" the thing! Really impressive project.

That sounds so wicked! Would be cool to see a collab with Mike Finnigan from Finnigan's Garage, that guy loves V8s, Jetboats, & Jetskis. Maybe he will let you borrow his 1700 hp V8 engine for that thing, lol.
It would be really cool to hang out with Finnigan especially since road kill was my favorite RUclips show back when it was on RUclips

Going to need a high blade angle to take advantage of the torque and low rpms

Thanks, Milo really likes other kids his age especially if they want to play on or around the jetskis or with toy cars. It really makes me smile when he gets to play with kids his age.

Also, RUclips shorts are the popular thing right now. You should consider making some short videos, and the channel will really take off. There are awesome quick tutorials on how to make RUclips shorts. It’s super easy too! It could literally take you just a few minutes to make a good one especially since you have so many awesome skis around and a lot of cool stuff for us gearheads to enjoy looking at!
I was out at the lake the other day and there was a guy with a 2jz seadoo. I think he makes his money gambling on jet ski races.

Clamp a 3ft pole to the rear handle area (back of seat) with a 360 camera. Will get insane footage and you won’t have to have someone behind you try to shoot video. Great build!

Reminds me of the Wayback Days in South Texas, some Polack farmer boys, the Sekulas, I think, took a Cadillac V8, put it in a Jeep chassis and put a VW Super Bug body on it..... And don't even get me started on the go-kart that they put a Kawasaki 750 engine on.
can you get a more aggressive impeller and a more flowy intake grate? the torque of that motor can definately handle it, awesome video

Might want to have some ocean water cool the gearbox in some way similar to the exhaust, maybe before the exhaust then goes to exhaust.
