(A long ass opinion) I liked the film and i get that the treatment of the disorder was shown like i donno what but i beleive she got closure cuz she finally came to terms with her parent's death, that clip where young sara goes to dad and asks for toffee or something (i don't remember i watched the film 2 months ago) and her dad says he won't return makes her breakdown even more because she realised that sajjad was just a hallucination her mind made up for comfort. As she was alone all her childhood, sajjad became her escape mechanism from her loneliness. Even when sajjad fails to make taj mahal disappear, i remember rinku said something like, "my dad made a mistake and became a disappointment and you're gonna do the same now?" Really shows that sajjad was her way of making her parent's story successfull. Tabhi she also belived that love is chappal se sutai and etc because that's what she saw. Anyway, i like the film a lot, the only thing that was upsetting was the Ranjhana waali maar kutai and self harm type toxicity in love and the representation of the psychology student, otherwise the film was something not everyone would like or understand.
To be fair casting Akshay was plot-related; still creepy but justified. But even Dhanush(38) and Sara(26) have a huge age gap. The movie only works because Dhanush is that good of an actor. I still can't get over Salman Khan and Disha Patani actually being costars. Anything past a 10 year age gap is cringe.
You can only love this film if you're unaware of mental health issues going on 🙂 it's like clapping and praising a movie made on rape cause you don't know what rape is 🙂
Ha ha ha I really liked this video 😄❤🥰😘 To be honest the casting of Akshay (despite the age difference between him and Sara) made sense due to the plot as he played the role of Rinku's dad. So that is not an issue I feel... But yeah I think they could have done a way better work with Dhanush's character (as his acting anyway was superb and absolutely splendid as well as flawless) making him more sensitive towards Rinku's disorder and in a way the film could develop a more convincing and humane screenplay, talking about how mental disorders affect a person and how with the support of his/her loved ones, he/she can heal. But the treatment shown in this movie seemed really very jarring. Not just a bit filmy, but at times even very unconvincing and kind of insensitive to Rinku. Although I really appreciate them for making a movie on issues like mental disorder, the narrative could have been much better is what I feel. Nevertheless, a great great video Yogi Baba, as usual ❤

It's because of the trauma of having her parents get burn in front of her she fantasized being loved by the man who is her father but as she got old the similarities with her mother made her think that she was the one being loved by him.. NGL though the ending part made me cry hard 🥲. As for Rinku's disorder , in typical Bollywood fashion , she got cured as fast as light 🤡. But i theorised ( mostly to justify the ending 😂) that Rinku reunited with her true love but her problems were far from over . She didn't get cured but rather realised that she wasn't well and often realisation or acknowledgement of your mental illness acts as a first step forwards . What Rinku had was extreme PTSD ( not a psych major so I won't contemplate further). Nevertheless her backstory was traumatic 🥲 . Great nutshell 😂😂✨❤️ (The major spoiler methods were ingenious 🙏❤️✨😂)

Rinku doesn't look like her mother exactly but she resembles her. When rinku was married to Vishu, she felt good as at least someone was nice to her.
Being doctor I have 2 aspect over this, in broad spectrum or leaving the way of treatment ,end of treatment is right. Like we go subconscious mind of person to make them say which hurting them. But the way Bollywood portraying her delusion and PTSD is wrong. If they correct the way of treatment, it will be great psychology movie.
But everyone doesn’t understand deep movies. The actors literally acted very well but some of the people didn’t even understood what the movie was about.
