My “trellis” is so packed and ridiculous just from not knowing even kinda what to do that I’ve been taking cuttings for family and friends. Everyone is so interested in it. I can’t wait to build a couple more with different varieties! I will be watching all your videos on how to do so!

I have a Halley's comet plant that is really big. I have it growing up and over an old tyre. It's been flowering for a couple of years now but no fruit. I've just realised it is self sterile. I've purchased another variety which the garden centre assured me was self pollinating, though I don't know what the variety is. I'm hoping it will flower this year and I can start crosspollinating. I heard cross pollination gives better quality fruit even on self pollinating plants. I'm in Cyprus, Europe. Great videos by the way. So helpful

After dragon fruits have been harvested, do you remove the branches? If you do remove the branches, how to get new fruiting branches for next year? But if you keep the branches, are you going to get fruits from the same branches next year? Remember, you have removed some or many small flowering buds from the same branches. Are new flowering buds going to regrow from the same spots?

I have three types (yellow , red and undatus). But the one that is growing buds is the yellow one. Do you know if they need to cross pollinate or self pollinate?
If they need to cross pollinate do you have pollen that I could use and how do we go about it? I really appreciate your chanel it has taught me so much. Thanks for the help.

Hi, i got a dragon fruit plant from a friend and it has flowered twice since i got it. 8 flowers the 1st time then 10 flowers. I hand pollinated them and no fruit has set. They just go yellow and drop off. Its the vietnamese white variety and the person i got it off does not cross pollinate so i dont think thats the problem. My wife waters them everyday, is that too much? What other reasons could it be for not setting fruit? Thanks

I removed all of the from the main branch and my initial 5 branch from the main. I want to know, do you let anymore branches grow from your initial 5 branches? Or do you keep removing them and only let those 5 branches flower for the rest of its life? Can your initial 5 branches continue to give fruits for its life? or will i have to regrow the 5 branches again from the main branch?

I am in a similar situation. I got an Asunta and several other No ID varieties given by a hobbyist. The first 5 Asunta flowers were aborted. But not bummed out because that means the plant will bloom again. You need an American beauty, sugar dragon or a Vietnam white which are universal pollinators. More plants means more blooms, more fresh pollen. Vietnam whites are readily available. Good luck.

Hi Richard, is there something as over-pollination? I think I overpollinated my flowers because only 3/1 of them turned out pollinated. I brused on the stigma as you showed on your video, but i also used the brush to deliever almos a "spoonful" of pollen to the center of stigma. Is it enough to just gently brush around the stigma? I'll be waiting for your reply, thanks in advance! Also thanks for the content.
