- Put together a quick video based around the exhaust set up I have on my 2014 Mustang 3.7. I've posted numerous clips on it, but never have I explained it into detail. Enough beating around the bush, here's my current set up:

You need the roush exhaust for sure, the Flowmaster will always have that tinny raspy sound
I made a bad decision when I bought these. I should have trusted my gut lol
V6s can definitely sound good with a nice exhaust, where ppl go wrong is trying to get V6 Stangs,Camaros, & Chargers/Challengers to sound like V8s which is a losing battle. To get them to sound good you must be willing to embrace the V6's inherent exhaust harmonics.

I have a 2007 4.0 5 speed and the Flow Master Super 40s sounds pretty nice. Nice car sounds great

The Atak's are nice, same with the Corsa, but the price tho, uggghh.
4.0 owner here and I agree, V6`s do sound like shit whether a 3.8, 4.0 or 3.7. They're just different degrees of shit. The trick is to keep them a quiet as possible. I`ve had Ford Racing GTB`s for the last 15 years and still like them though, the Mustang sounds like a more muscular 350Z.
The 3.7 motor is great from my experience and from what I’ve seen through auto mafia’s RUclips channel, it can hold a ton of power with the right setup. Am I fan of the sound? Not really but it’s def far from the worst from what I’ve heard in person.

My exhaust tone is offset by the M90 blower whine, nice compromise:)
I have a 14 V6 convertible and it has an extremely quiet stock exhaust I swear I have heard teslas with a louder exhaust

I have the 14, 3.7 and just finished upgrading the motor and intake.
Plan on going with your setup for the exhaust. So far, it does sound the best from what I have watched on line.

Just do straight pipe and keep stock cats and stock headers its loud but keeps its tone

Yes. Provided everything. All I had to do was pay.
Ford Racing axle backs are great by themselves! No other mods 👍🏽
I get sound is muffled in videos but this sounds exactly like my 3.7 mustang I paid $0 to straight pipe with a long screwdriver to gut the cats
Hey, if you’re able to do it for a more affordable price and you’re happy with it, go for it! Nevada law requires the use of catalytic converters so straight pipe was not an option for one of few reasons I had.
Mines illegal🤷🏼♂️ I have x pipes with muffler deletes I call it straight piped😂 only thing left would be getting sports cats but it’s loud enough right now…
V8 or V6, either way it’s LOUD af straight piped! You probably sound like microwaved popcorn coasting down the road haha 🍿

Why do you hold your shifter when it's an auto... Lol
cause with these its also got sport, and on the side of the shifter theres a + and - letting you have the option to shift manually, if you look close you can see his thumb pressing it as the car shifts. Ive got a 2014 3.7 convertible only reason i know lol

@@coolboy4555able you don't, it's an automatic. Put it in drive and go. Only time you should be downshifting an automatic is if you're coming down a mountain or something to slow down the car and maintain speed without having to ride the brakes. 😂
Did you install the open/close valves before or after the resonator? Also, how did you set the button to activate the open close control? That's sick man
I set the butterfly after the differential actually. My car was too low for it to go anywhere else. The butterfly came with a remote to open and close the valves so programmed the remote to the garage door opener to open and close it. This video should help better explain it!
