I'd prefer a Loveseat Murphy Bed Combo, instead of a slide out on the floor. I like the dual seat dinette, but I'd make it level with existing countertops 4A more functioning prep space. Cest La Vie! Bonsoir:)!

Love the sliding front door! Don't need the "step-up" into the bedroom.... Keep the bedroom floor level (same as the living room) so RAISE THE BED in the bedroom and add built-in under-the-bed storage drawers! Then, the side lamp table can also be made taller to match the new bed height. Perfect.
Can't have the living room pull out bed without the step up into the bedroom, but I would agree, get the bedroom bed up a bit more.

Murphy bed in the den/living room.
the new kind that converts to a couch , or the kind that rolls on tambour tracks under the couch and then up into the walls.
if u absolutely must raise the bedroom floor for pipes or whatnot then this is ok , being less labor to just hide a bed under another one and probably easy to build.
but do consider some of these new Murphy bed/ wall bed options .
there is even one where when the bed is upright and latched in place the whole Frame is pulled forward and pivoted completely around revealing bookcases and concealing bed.
I prefer the fold down bed that lifts up to reveal a couch so as to provide seating

I don't like the design, with the bathroom beside the kitchen. Bathroom must be adjacent to the bedroom not near the kitchen.
