Edit he couldn't use ender pearl it was set block only I even set a time stamp and water is more efficient than slime block as you can just set water anywhere and they'll still pour all the way down slime block you have to place them down at the bottom

You can use NBT tag to make block placeable. Example (if I'm not wrong) :

In the last level on level one I was yelling at the screen USE AN ENDERPEARL!!!

when you placed the stone as stairs you couldve placed a slimeblock at the bottom also u didnt need a fishing pole you could've used ender pearls

In the lvl that u used a fishing rod u could just use an ender pearl

14:00 couldn't he have just ( /setblock ~ ~-31 ~-1 minecraft:slime ) and then held shift when he landed on the slime block to stop bouncing? I tested it out and the command and theory works, but so did his method.

Im just facepalmibg at him because he doesnt know some stuff for cheats so here it is
1. (For /tp) Using ~ means ur current position and add numbers to move u blocks in that direction x/y/z instead of the actual coordinates
2(/give)u could have used enderpearls instead of the fishing rod
3(/setblock) i think you can do two sets of three ~s/coordinates so it will be from this block(1st set) to that block(2nd set)
4(/give)(wool part)(*falling*) ender pearls!!!
5(/setblock)(wool part) water

You didn't even need the maths you said you needed. You could have just /tp ~ 7 ~-1. If one is relative, they don't all have to be.
He could have used slime blocks for the third level
Alternatives I'd have used (hopefully don't get syntax wrong for these), locations should be obvious
/setblock ~ ~ ~ water 1 0 replace
/tp @e[type=Zombie] ~ 1 ~
/effect @e[type=Zombie] regeneration 100 10
water could have solved all of these.
Also, for give you should have given yourself diamond armour and a sword and just fought your way through.
I don't believe you had to go into creative... Maybe there was another way they intended for you to fix it?

You can't access a comand block in Survival or Adventure mode. You can only do so in Creative mode.
Yeah but it felt like they intended you to fix it another way o-o ... Maybe go back into one of the previous levels to find a path out?

No no, even when you find the way out and you're in Survival or Adventure mode, if you right-click the command block to change the command, mothing happens.
Maybe they didn't intend for you to mess with the command block in the first place? Maybe there's a path somewhere ._.

will the relative position tp command work from a command block, because if so you could use it to do a subtle troll in troll craft with it that would detect when sundee or cranier was say in their base and would occasionally tp them a few blocks over. They would think the server was lagging when it really would not be.

i'm not sure what version of minecraft this is, but if it's 1.11 you could have used an elytra and fireworks for almost every "/give" challenge
for the /effect level I thought of 2 more effects that would have worked, a negative levitation effect aka slow-fall or super high jump boost because jump boost decreases fall damage
Dude when you needed to do /give, you could have done */give CaptainSparklez minecraft:ender_pearl* or something like that that would give you an ender pearl
you could just had doen /give "name" minecraft:enderpearl and with /setblock ~ ~-31 ~-1 minecraft:slime_block

Everyone gives Jordan shit for not thinking about enderpearls. But I really like his creative ideas that most people probably didn't event think of instead of using the same item the entire time.

The /effect command can be used as /effect (name) minecraft:(id) 100000(for infinite) 255(highest multiplier)
u must do 2 commands to enchant an item. first give yourself the item, then do command /enchant (username) Minecraft:feather_falling 2
that will give the item your holding the given enchantment

I would have used a slime block or hay bale (those work in recent versions I think?) instead of the stone staircase, but that was still pretty awesome.
/execute doesn’t kill you it’s used to make certain entitys and items do stuff like /execute @e[type=zombie] ~ ~ ~ summon tnt summons tnt on every zombie
You know instead of counting all the blocks like that there's a "Looking at:" section that displays the coordinates of the blocks you're looking at.
I can smell an animation coming from this.
