I own two Boston Scally Peaky Hats, and I really like them both. That said, although the style fits my face well, and that is why I may purchase another in the future, the company must have cheapened their manufacturing since the making of this video because the hats I purchased are clearly marked 10% wool and not the 30% shown. Also, the lining of my new hats do not appear to be as refined as the ones shown. I'm not disrespecting the hats, again I may order another some day, but I want others who my be influenced by this review to be aware of what they are going to get.
I dig the company and everything about scally caps, Peaky Blinders, Boston, Dropkick Murphys, etc. But there is NO such size as a M/L for a men's hat. That's fucked up actually. (My Dad owned Louie the Hatter in Detroit, so yeah, I know hat sizes.)
Another day here starting out wonderfully thanks to yet another top and enjoyable presentation by you! Thank you as-ever for putting so much into your engaging reviews! Happy new week ahead my friend! 😊🙌🙌👏🙇♂️🙇♂️
Take a look at the P B gang again. What you saw on Shelby and most of the others was a proper newsboy cap. The cap you presented has some elements of a newsboy but is a combination of two styles. Boston Skally is well known for that kind of bill, where the material goes over the bill of the cap. Also, to get it to sit and lay like the Peaky caps the material does make a difference. Especially if you live in a place that get a fair bit of rain. The Harris Tweed and Donegal tweed are surprisingly water resistant. Oh, I am not criticising your choice of caps, only saying it is not actually a Shelby or what the blinders mostly wore. What you called a news boy is Not a news boy, not even close.

That's really good to know (and a little disappointing)! I wonder if that's across all their styles or just some? Good looking out!
I love these hats. I wear them all the time and wear them with just about any outfit.
They're great!

Glad he showed the label. “Made in PRC”. No thanks.
boston scally hat is too tightly made - not floppy like the real deal
