picked up the Ridge pen and have opened up this world of pens that I probably should have guessed existed. Enough to buy a refill for my long dry bullet space pen and now explore different refill options. The mark one looks like a solid choice but the mark two is probably a better bet for EDC for me. I might have to try that out next. Good video!
I love my Mark One pen. I picked up the Black with Stainless Steel one. I liked it so much that when the Black on Black one came out, I just had to get that one too!
I do like the design of the mark 2 pen, but $125 for a stainless steel pen, for that much money it should be titanium. and to have just a stamped steel clip also for that much doesn't seem too worth it to me. I was in the market for this style mini pen that opens to full size, but I ended up going with the aerocraft pen. same style of pen, made out of titanium, looks like wayy batter higher quality machining, and less money too. but that's just my 2 cents
I think this thing looks so cool but the price they are charging for it to be built overseas is just too much. When you have companies like tactile turn being American made with just as good if not better machining for $99, it’s hard to buy this. Also, I don’t believe there are any magnets in this at all.
Just got a Mark One. The Mark Two is pretty appealing to me for traveling/pocket carry. Thanks for this comparison video!
Does the coating legit? I prefer stainless steel no coating because of scratch risk
@@TN-swe-v3 so far so good. I have protected it pretty well (don’t put it in same pocket as keys for example) but no signs of wear.
Good lighting. I’ve had a Mark Two since the Kickstarter and it’s been a really reliable pen.

Have a Lamy Pico for travel and quick notes. The quality is pretty bad, but I like how quick it is to use. Might give this a try.
Waiting on my mark one, If i use it 24/7 i will probably order a on the go size for my hiking days.
How is it bro? @king

From Austin and I’ve been looking for a nice writing utensil. I enjoyed this review. Thinking I’ll get myself a Mark Two.

Schmidt 5888 is good too

Ugh why can’t the mark one have a clip?
I really like Bastion Pens
