The .303 is still my favorite rifle in the game. It served me very well on my fallow deer grind and I always have complete confidence in it even at pretty long distances. It always saddens me that it gets so overlooked.
The 7mm and 300 soft points are fantastic, broadside of course. For deer, and hogs a single lung drops them with 7mm. I will go as far to say they are superior to the polytips.
@@miltonlopez7370 Well the expansion and penetration are both things that happen after the bullet strikes the animal, so if you add the numbers together, it kinda tells me which is the better bullets. Soft points cause more damage but less penetration so you need the broadside shot and less tracking and higher blood rate.
Just recently got the game with Parque Fernando and New England and I love it but from what I’ve noticed my favorite rifle was the Kerman muzzleloader just because of its range and power against my fav in game animal to hunt the moose
I like the 22lr my longest kill was 3 turkies each at 400 yards. I have migrated to the shotgun. No idea why, I just like it. As far as rifles my go to is the Eckers. Mainly because in my testing the Eckers is more accurate than the M1. 250m and the M1 is usually slightly low and to the right. The Eckers drills holes in the bullseye. 300 meters the Eckers drops off slightly less and is still drilling holes where as the M1 has a looser spread. Not sure why, maybe it's to balance out the two rifles.
I normally carry the 7mm, 22-250 and the 22H, that loadout covers every animal in the game and the 22H is good to 164 yards over the standard 22 at 109. Still leaves room for a tent and calls or something else if needed.
Aside from what you heard in the video, really not much has changed. Emerald Coast is a great map if you’re looking to buy a DLC. As for finding trophies, same rules still apply. Check unexplored areas, kill everything in sight for respawns, and hunt low level multiplayer servers. Anything else you want to know?
@nielsmbpro7743 As far as I can tell. Only thing that may have changed is the rarity of some furs, but there are spreadsheets out there in Reddit and Discord that should tel you all you need to know for that

What!?! The Moradi lever-action has no mention? It's probably the best rifle in the game. Loopy trajectory but more than makes up for it with either 70 penetration or 70 expansion cartridges AND is ethical for class 3 to 8.
I just started playing this the past few days. In laytpn for now. Been using the ranger 243 I think that's the starting rifle? What's the next best thing for my next rifle? Thank you ✌️
Im new and i have been playing a lot i really love this game but i could use some tips i am having a great start on my whitetail grind any tips on rifle set ups and what guns i should have in loadout like bullet size please and thanks
I know you mentioned the zarza 308 in this video, but what about your thoughts on the olsson 308? I feel like its just about as good or better than someone of the other class 4-8 rifles from shooting it a few times.

Something I’ll have to check out
Why use soft tips, I’m fairly new to playing but always use polymer

@@miltonlopez7370on a broadside shot they will expand causing more damage which leads to less tracking. The animal bleeds out much quicker.

The 7 millimeter magnum is a fucking beast. Period. No more needs to be said
💯
love the videos man
Thanks!
Are you going to play the angler since it’s on console now?
I don’t think so. Not the biggest on fishing games. Kinda boring for me
@@FishinFrenziCOTW I understand I’ve been playing it and I’ve honestly been having so much fun
@KingCharles543 I’m sure. I really just don’t want to spend even more money
@@FishinFrenziCOTW if you want I coulddd game share it

I only run the 300mag AR. And the glock 10mm. Quail to cape buffalo all drop.
I can imagine they do

This game sucks it’s boring and few animals to hunt.. red dead redemption 2 online is way better than this boring game.
How 😂 if you have any clue about the game you’d know where to find the animals lmao
the zarza is so great
