I've been running every day since September 12th, 2022. My laziest days were 1 mile, my best were 14. I've enjoyed it and plan to continue it, currently 17 years old and plan to continue this streak as long as I can in life.
I ❤ video & comments! I’m 76 and haven’t missed a day in 3+ yrs. Mottos-miss a day & I’ll never do it again; a body in motion stays in motion; and ‘run don’t walk!’ 😅 my 🐕 ❤ it too! Last year we went 2518 miles!
People are always questioning others, when they have not even walked a mile in their shoes / don’t let them put you down. You have inspired sooooo many people around world. Thank you so much for your motivation and inspiration 🙏🏽
Man, I don't get why people have to comment negative things on people doing positive stuff. Especially when commenting on people's times. Fast/slow is relative to each person. I've run 7 marathons and I just had my PR in Chicago at a 3:44. Slow to some, fast to others. I've also been running a mile a day since January 1st of 2022 and I love it. I do it in honor of my dad who was diagnosed with ALS January 1st 2022 and lost his battle exactly 9 months later. I love that you run for people that can't. That is also my inspiration going forward. Hellah, you're an inspiration and I really love your channel and story and look forward to see what you have in store for the future!
Thank you for sharing your story. When I was younger, I didn't like running. I started running at 56 (3 months later 57) years old. My late husband was terminally sick. It helped me with keeping depression at bay and later got me through grief, after his death. Next month, I'll be 65, and I still run most days, love it & very grateful for it. I have yet to run a marathon. But, my recent half-marathon was in December 2022. Also, I found out, I love trail running. So, I'll probably do more of those types of races. Thanks for inspiring me! Peace.
I had an ear-to-ear smile throughout this video! Such a healthy mindset, so many life lessons running is teaching us. You are a beautiful person man, glad to stumbled upon your video! I found running during my most difficult days of my life and it made me feel incredibly exonerated. And coincidentally enough, it happened while I was a grad student at UMASS (Remember that trail connecting Amherst and Northampton? I spent so many nights after school running in that trail). Anyways, thank you for reminding me this!
You're so fast. I trained for a marathon and it took me 6 hours and 42 minutes. Sure my ankle gave out at mile 16 but that's part of the marathon. Fast and slow are relative.
Bro I’m so happy for you, I almost shed a tear…the amount of inspiration you just gave me watching this vid, almost freaks me out. You got a beautiful soul my brother… no lie… much respect 🫡
The military helped me hate running, but even when enlisted I knew it was something I needed to conquer. And it took me a few years since the military to want to run, but it’s still this thing in my mind I need to overcome. And honestly yeah I agree, doing it for yourself and your own personal goals is so much more motivating. Now I’m enjoying things, but lol you marathon guys are crazy to me. I’m good with my 3 miles but I am always impressed by you horses!
hi hellah, dont mind them if you are running without posting your times or entering any race.. cant please everybody for sure.. what you are doing has inspired many people including me, as i am starting to build up for my first ever ultra trail for the year...
What an inspiration, kudos to you!! How much I hated running and then 18 years ago, at the age of 40 I started (not every day..) but I completely fell in love with running .
Currently on 68th day and loving it more and more! Stumbled on your channel, I love your content and your energy, really inspiring me to never stop running ❤
I had heard about you from other running channels. But this was my first introduction to you directly. What a story! And great job telling it! I’ve also started running a lot in the past year. Though I’m not a streaker, I’ve been consistently keeping track of and slowly increasing my weekly mileage. Running, now, has definitely become a passion, and feels like it will be here forever. Its amazing to know that there are others like yourself out there, who feel the same way about running, and are taking it to previously unimaginable levels. Keep it up Hellah. we will all be here following your journey, and supporting you along the way, while deriving inspiration from it as well.
Hella! I just finished the 4 agreements a couple days ago. That book is filled with some serious gems! Congrats on the run streak, you inspired me to start my own streak 1,318 days ago and I haven't looked back. There are always going to be those who question the streak, because some believe you have to be doing PR's every week and winning races. Unless they're running or have ran a streak too, people generally don't see the point.
I love your story Hellah. Really enjoyed watching your Leadville 100 video and listening to how running is your happy place. I’m training for my first 50k this summer to celebrate becoming 50& Fabulous 😊 I ran NYC in 2019, 1-st marathon and loved it. Thanks for sharing and being an inspiration.
Awesome video. Just found your channel very inspiring. I started my streak Dec. 3,2021 on a random Friday. I have always wanted to run everyday but I made every excuse from I’ll start next month to I’ll start on a Monday. Until that day I just did it. It literally changed my life. Still going strong.
This is the reason why people should run! Thank you and I subscribed. Looking forward to seeing ur video about the Western States race as I live in CA about 20 miles from the finish line in Auburn.
Some people are really toxic, just because they don't see things the same way you do they will judge you. A lot of people start their running journey with the wrong mindset, trying to compare themselves with others all the time like it's a competition. I've been running all my life and I'm almost 33. I played football like Hellah for years and I started running long distances and trails at 19 occasionally and for me it was just something I enjoyed doing so I did the first race in my life 10 years later at 29. Enjoy what you do people instead of living the hell of comparing yourself to others.
Love your attitude and views. Like you, I hated running to begin with, but have grown to realize that's its a gateway to so much more, i am going to run the fat dog 120 this year, so videos like this are fuel. Hey I don't think anyone has ever ran from the very bottom tip of the states to the north of mainland Canada. Good luck on future adventures sir.
Love the attitude. You truly enjoy the run. I'm actually going opposite of your year. Been doing triathlons and running events for 6 years now and am taking this year off. No events, just running and biking. By the way, my two marathons took me 6:50 and then 6:25., so how slow am I? But like you (I think) I do it for the feeling of accomplishment from completing distances or just for getting out there on a bad day and the feeling of freedom during the run.
Hey Hellah, just wanted to post and let you know that you don't have to explain yourself to haters. We can all see the energy and inspiration you're pushing out into the world. Someone accusing you of commanding a lot of clout and says "What's the point of running that much if you're gonna be so slow? Lolol" is deep down, a jealous & miserable human being. Keep doing you, brother. We love ya!
i started running this year 2023 Jan, i suffered arthritis so bad during my childhood and never had a good body for sports during my teenage and recent years i suffered two times heart attack 2017 and 2020, i am 50 this year and i hate myself for being in sick body for so long, so i started walk fast and then slow jog even i am in pain n out of breath, now i run everyday on treadmil and weekend on roads very slowly and i never stop since, i am not be fast but i did it, my furthest is 9.76km with 6-7min/km
Félicitations pour ton accomplissement! continue ton cheminement et merci pour ton inspiration, je suis rendu à ma cinquième année consécutive, la motivation est toujours présente peu importe les circonstances.
@@ManningOWNsTeboww You don’t need to be condescending. 3 days is enough. You don’t know this person’s running journey. Running is very hard on the joints. Any doctor will tell you that 3-4 runs a week is good enough. If you can’t be polite then you probably shouldn’t have commented. Who are you to tell someone that what they are doing ISN’T enough. The audacity.
What’s your height & weight? Reason I’m asking is I would like to obtain your BMI number. (Body Mass Index). You’re an inspiration. I will order that book Born to Run, and also like and subscribe. Thanks.
Wow didn't realise you used to play football (soccer 😀)! Can really relate to that idea of hating the running part. I used to play myself as a kid and was exactly the same. Now really into running so it's completely flipped!

Thank you once again Hellah, it's an amazing mindset that I've tried to emulate into my everyday life and it has made me happier beyond imagination
Thanks for the inspiration hella! I have been run streaking since June 1 2020. Today was day 1006.
We are way stronger than we think we are. Well done and keep inspiring 👏
i love your energy man !!
I met you at the New York marathon last year and it was awesome to see you, that sure was a great but tough race 😊

I start my running because of you i watched you since 2020 and it's more than 2 year i am consistent on my stuff

Inspiring bro
Running is amazing it's like a Rebirth 👍🏾🤣...hit the hills out there in the South shore Parks and build more confidence
how do I develop noise cancelling ears like you? Keep doing you & ignore the outside noise! 💪
“Run Barry, RUN!”
You need a rest day. I run 3 out of 7 days and every 12 weeks I take a week off to protect the joints.
Oooh I like this a lot.
Geez. I understand 1 rest day a week but you’re barley even running at all. 3 days a week is not nearly enough for me at a healthy 29 years old.

I have just start at July 2022, and I really amaze there is a runner wearing FOUR watches 😳
You should try the David Goggins challenge 4x4x48..
Bonjour cool la vidéo 💪🏾
How do you run with injuries?
Yes! Run for joy not PRs
what if your to heavy.. my feeling is above 200 joints become an issue above a certain age
Three steps:
1. Los weight by walking 3 miles everyday and eating less.
2. Start the ATG online coaching to strengthen the joints
3. Run every day.
Bro I ran track at UMass!
Pork 4 relojes?
nah that running form is amazing lol
Which running shoes can you recommend man?
Man I cant even run a mile without stopping a few times.
Should i start walk and run a little or
AWSOME

Do you intermittent fast? 😮
Curious: Only made it to 2min 05 seconds but why are you wearing 4 watches?
Seventeenth 🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️

Great video. I think you just get more haters because you're so popular. So bittersweet maybe. Hopefully the neg comments have gone away now.
Why are you running!!!
