I absolutely love how much pride Barry took in shooting highway signs. He was serious as all hell when explaining how far he could shoot.
I have no doubt he grew up shooting rattlesnakes and stuff out on the ranch.
Probably a BS comment...Compared to a real killer!
Barry was one of the best workers in the business
No doubt
Barry was a amazing wrestler should of been world champ!!
@@harveymcelroy9332 should HAVE
@@JoeyT1 he was NWA champ when wcw had 2 main titles.
Absolutely
I've seen a few Barry interviews and this is the 1st time I've ever seen him seem engaged and actually enjoy speaking to the interviewer. As I feel like I say every time, well done, James!
Barry was a classic and seems like an authentic good dude… luv this
I love Barry in these shoots. He’s to the point and always gives an answer.
Truly the best shoot interview series on RUclips right now. You bring out the best in everyone. Miles ahead of the Hannibal.
Hannibal is in jail
Hannibal is sooooo monotone ..... I can't listen to him anymore for a long time he was like the only one that did shoot interviews, now more people are doing them so I no longer have to listen to Mr monotone 😂😂
Barry a true legend
Larry Z was one of my favorites. Mainly because we had the same hair line...
Enjoyed very much. Great hearing from Barry, one of the great performers back when wrestling entertained. Good to hear Brad Armstrong mentioned another favorite from my time growing up with Continental Wrestling and CWF!👍
Big big fan of Barry!! Even as a kid I could see nobody moved as smooth as him!! Your interviews are great and seems like you're getting more and more respect from the boys.
Barry has lived 1 heck of a life still a very humble man. Barry's interview's are by far the most interesting & entertaining I've personally seen, keep em coming I'm sure he's got a million of them to tell.
Praying for Barry's recovery
He conveniently forgot about the fight he had with Billy Jack Haynes lol
I’d want to forget that fight as quickly as possible. Billy handed him his ass and then challenged Blackjack and he wanted no part of Billy. Tells you a lot about Billy. Lol
@@philipclarke9696 Billy was borderline insane even then
LOVE hearing from Barry ! He was sooo damn good ! As a kid i wanted him to beat Flair for the belt so damn bad ! On the other hand as i got a wee bit older that was my fave Horseman group ! THank you both for this !
THE !! most natural wrestler to ever step inside of professional wrestling right thank you BARRY 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Jesus H, Barry looks more like Blackjack now than he ever has. It's uncanny.
Liked this interview so much. Infinitely better interviewer than Hannibal. Omg Hannibal’s shoot interview with Barry was painful to watch. This one was awesome! Great job!
Hannibal has no personality, his voice has no emotion
I loved Barry Windham in WCW.
This is my favorite interview yet. I bet Barry never knew he had one of his biggest in the projects of D.C.💯💯
Enjoying the Barry series. Thanks for the unique content.
I worked Puerto Rico for a hot minute in 96. And yeah, the crowds were nuts there. But I do have to say that outside of wrestling the people I met and delt with were super nice and treated me like family.
Great to see Barry he's one of the guys who pretty much kept a low profile after retiring.
You were guaranteet a good match every time Barry Windham was in the ring. And many times you got a great match. Back when wrestling was the thing, Barry was elite level.
Great interview! Barry was a fantastic talent!
Tell Barry I remember his first run in Florida Championship Wrestling from 1979!!!
great interview and Barry was great with his answers!
More windham please
Brad Armstrong was one of my favorites as a kid. I always thought that he had the best drop kick. Glad to hear Barry give him credit. Good commentary teams often reference the legends but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone mention Brad Armstrong.
The best 4th member of the four horsemen
By far!!!!
Good seeing B.W. again
Barry would be fun to hang out with for sure!
Thank you James and of course Thank you Barry
I remember that spot w/ Sid in war games . He Screams get me the figure four !!!! Lol
Great interview guys!
I watched an old Windham RF shoot and he told a great story where he did a 60 min+ 10 min extra draw with Flair once in Florida......Afterwards, him, Flair and his dad Blackjack were driving to the next town and they kicked him out of the car as a rib they made him run like 4 miles alongside the roadside and he just kept on going like the athletic freak he was, they eventually they just called him back in and called it off.......Baz is awesome, you could do a whole part 2 about the times his dad fucked with Andre.
Barry has morphed into his dad. Glad he's still around
Barry is a legend
Larry Zbyszko is cool, he was one of the best heels out there. You're luck you didn't get knifed, or shot down in Puerto Rico, my dad was stationed down there for 3 years back in the late 80's, that was one place you really need to watch your ass.
I remember "D Batteries" at Yankee Stadium, but I heard they would throw Rocks and Bottles at Wrestlers in PR and other places in the Caribbean...
Saw barry one time in a bar in Atlanta.
Amazing performer and awesome shoot interview
I loved watching Barry and Mike. Great team with great energy. I agree with Brad Armstong being the real talent in those boys. His dad good, Scott makes a good ref, Brian does a good promo, but the real deal was Brad. Brad could do it all. That drop kick of his was a thing of beauty. If he had been 4" taller and liked steroids he would have been a bigger draw than Hogan. I got to talk to him a couple of times, funny dude. Different than his character. Brad and Al Perez were more entertaining and much better wrestlers than Lex and Sting. I wish someone had let him loose and said be you, not Bob. Great video guys.
Ahh yes Al Perez was a great wrestler but he never really got far.
Barry is definitely a good ol country boy! Cool dude
In the early to late 90's. Barry windham was just untouchable in the ring. He was so smooth and made it look legit. I wonder if Barry was in Puerto Rico that day the whole card got rained out and the wrestlers still tried to work.
Barry was such a great worker! Seen him drink one night after a WWF show in Topeka on Halloween he was dropping whiskey shots like jelly beans! 💯😁
I remember that WarGames. Sid was calling spots right in front of the camera.
6:05 BIG FACTS....😂😂😂 first name I thought of when the question was asked. AND that same War Games match came to mind. Anyone can see and hear him in the corner with Rick Steiner LITERALLY asking him if Scott is coming yet so they can do a reversal for Scott to clothesline Sid 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️😂. It's blatantly caught on camera. I remember watching live back in 1991 thinking "c'mon Sid!!! You can't be THAT LOUD"
great questions!
one of the great big guy workers Barry . Big bad ass Cowboy who could dance like a gazelle in a mini bar.
Barry's voice sounds just like Ted DiBiase.
Barry Windham was a great wrestler
I saw that war games and heard him talking to Rick Steiner
i am glad to see him back after the heart attack
good ass interview
Hes definitely the Late Black Jack Mulligan's R.I.P son ❤
Delightful!!
Your best interview
Brad Armstrong so underrated . It was so obvious even as a kid to me he stood out as a great , great worker so sharp and tight in his work. If he could of got his promo skills together could of been bigger then Flair.
Also Barry should have been NWA Champ 3 are 4 times. He was perfect for it.
Miami! Yeah baby. Still holds true!
One of my favorite Wrestlers of all time! I would have loved to see him as the World Champion of WCW when Flair left at the end of 91 instead of Lex Luger
i as a kid recognized that Brad Armstrong was a special talent , thru the years and because of the internet i've realized i wasn't the only one and that most of his peers felt the same. Barry says he just never got that break ya know, I wonder did Brads Dad hold him back? Bob was the star of the Armstrong clan the patriarch of the family and wrestled way past his prime but never really gave any of the boys that push to carry on the Armstrong name in the ring now out side and inside Roaddog is a very important agent at WWE , one of the brothers is a full time ref with WWE and sadly Brad passed years ago because of his demons . Bob had stroke in the industry itself not just a territory he knew a lot of people in the business and very easily could of got Brad in a position to really get over and become that great Super star he could of been with a lil character building and promo work he's money. i just wonder if his Fathers ego was really a hidden demon of Brads and felt he could or wouldn't be allowed to step out of the shadow that his father cast far and wide. just a thought. 🧐🤔
I always thought it was bogus when Barry. Had to drop the Texas Heritage Heavyweight Champion to Larry Larry Zbyszko never got it back. I remember hearing Sid calling spot on Nitro.
Oh woww that Puerto Rico Story
Legend!💪
I used to wonder why Dusty never gave Brad Armstrong a good push when he was with Crockett? A blind man could see how talented he was, and even though he was a Face, they could've gave him a manager to do most of his talking, a missed opportunity I think. The 4 Horsemen beat him up, and then it seems they buried him, could it have been something personal with Rhodes?
When he asked what city had the most eager women, I instantly thought Miami, and then Barry said Miami!!
I have only been there a couple times but something about the women there made it first in my mind!
the Claw
RIP Bobby
No talk about him and Billy Jack eh, must have forgot that fight.
Damn. Should have asked about the Billy Jack fight.
Barry should have made his bed before the interview
So many wrestlers mention Brad Armstrong as one of the most talented wrestlers they knew. I think it was Arn Anderson that said Brad was also one of the funniest and charasmatic wrestlers in the locker room, but as soon as a camera was put on him, he almost froze up and could never show the charisma and personality he had backstage with the boys. I always thought it interesting that Road Dogg was considered the Armstrong brother with the least amount of wrestling ability, but he could just go out and get over with the fans with his talking and personality.
Wonder why Barry didn't mention his backstage fight with Billy Jack Haynes?
Be nice Travis!!!
What happened did he get his c*nt kicked in?
Didn't Barry fight Billy Jack in Flordia too?
Brad Armstrong got several breaks …. He never lit his afterburners
Why wasn't Windham a snider in the Army?..Like Me?
Everyone says Dick Murdoch was king of hitting road signs
BW have mercy ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I heard the Billy Jack Haynes backstage fight story, doesn’t sound like it went well for Barry. I wish he would have talked about that fight
Love the Sullivan stomp.
I just know that if Brad Armstrong was a heel, he could’ve been great. Imagine Brad and Arn Anderson cutting promos on people.
I've been told that bobby eaton and mick foley are too nice for the wrestling business
I remember seeing him as a child and thinking there’s no way he was mulligans son. As him and Kendall got older, they look more and more like blackjack every day.
Brad didn't like doing promos according to Cornette
everything that comes out of manny's mouth sounds like a big lie to me.
I hated how they let Larry beat your fair and square on national tv as soon as he came to the company and took the western heritage belt. It could have been interference or something
Wait a minute.. Manny Fernandez stole his pick-up truck, sold it, and all he did was punch him in the head?! That's it?
Everyone says either Vader or Bslls Mahoney as smelliest wrestler. Ugh, i can only imagine... 🤢
To bad Brad died so young
I can’t understand James
Zybszko was never a major star other than being a glorified mid carder.
