Your 💯 percent right Eddie also the type of silver you offer it’s very good because i had bought silver chains from other company and countries and they tarnished very quickly they were stamped 925 but most likely they were very less amount of actual silver in it and mixed metals but harlembling has the best 925 and 999 silver jewelry. Little tip as well, use some conditioner non scented when cleaning silver as it will add a nice sheen and polish!

People who drink alot. The oils in their skin can actually tarnish silver within a day. When i was heavy on liquor. No matter what ring i wore. By the end of the day id have a nice black ring around my finger. Once i stopped drinking never had the issue again

Eddie, why is my sterling silver started to peels off and I thought that it might be fake. So, I took it to a jeweler and they told me that it is real sterling silver. Can made a video to explain why it is peeling?
Can somebody explain why a chain with turn back black after cleaning it even if you wear it every day are used to have I think it was like a 10 mm or 11 mm thick silver chain not from this company particularly but I bought it at a jewelry store it turned black I used to clean it regularly but I also wore it every day and within a week it consistently turn black or dull to the point where you couldn’t get the shine back out of it

I use aluminum and baking soda and boiling hot water, put the aluminum foil shiny side up in a bowl and put baking soda over the jewelry and pour the boiling water in the bowl. I'm from Concord North Carolina.
i literally use the same method plus using silver cleaning solutions can cause damage over time n eat away the rhodium if u have something like white hold

That sounds dumb AF... if you bought something you need to test you need to re-evaluate your purchases...
And also I’ve been told as well that wearing silver when the shower is not good either because it can also cause it to tarnish, real gold is different that doesn’t do anything. Just don’t expose it to chlorine in a pool
My experience with keeping silver nice like ice is this: store your silver in an airtight bag with anti tarnish strips. Every now and then wipe the silver down with a buffing cloth, or firstly a polishing cloth if needed. Some people use a sunshine cloth, I prefer the connoisseurs brand cloths. The wipes are more abrasive but also work very well. The baking soda hot water soaking should only be used as a last resort or used on highly tarnished silver. An ultrasonic cleaner may remove hard to reach dirt, but is not safe to use on pieces that contain stones. (Eddie has mentioned this). For dirt removal all ya need is hot water, dish soap, and a tooth brush. Always Pat dry or wrap in a towel afterwards, and then wipe with a cloth. It’s important to wipe your chains after wearing them, not before wearing them. Removing oil and dirt will keep them Jawns shiny. It’s simple, and if you love your pieces it can be an enjoyable experience to partake in the maintenance.
