at least you can very easily cheat shogi if you just try, things like mahjong though require (at the bare minimum) a VERY basic understanding of the rules of mahjong, as well as a lot of patience and good luck
Shogi is the easiest shit. Most if not all of the Yakuza games have the same exact set of puzzle challenges which you can cheat at by using a guide, and since you only need to play like 5 games max for completion that's all you need to do. 5 minutes and you're done, you don't even need to know how to play. I'm 8 games in and I can't tell a piece from the other.
There's always that one thing in each Yakuze game that keeps me from platinum (outside shogi/mahjong): - 0 has Majima's rng weapon hunt - kiwami 1 has buy all weapons /Grind coliseum - kiwami 2 has the bouncer missions you have to do 3 times - 3 has golf and Haruka's donate 3 million yen request - 4 has coliseum - 5 has... Everything

@@claudiukulcsar456 ishin seal grind 100% takes the cake for being the most tedious, i remember trying for a couple days straight when the game came out and only got a total of 2 of the seals i needed out of like THIRTY or something 💀 that game makes 0's platinum seem super forgiving even with stuff like catfights and equipment searching at least it's a relatively easy platinum i guess, but with how absurd the RNG involved with it is i genuinely can't be bothered cause the seal rate is ATROCIOUS (and yes i played after they increased the seal rates, it's SLIGHTLY better sure but it still feels like it takes WAY too long to get any seals you actually need)
god help you, ishin and 3 are easily the most brutal ones to platinum, ishin because it's an EXTREME time sink for mostly RNG making for an absolutely draining experience, 3 because half the minigames in that remaster are absurdly jank (pool and to some degree darts) or just brutal in nature (batting, golf, etc)

That being said, while rotation was surprisingly easy (Finished it on my 8 try) 8 ball took me a century. As for Ishin, rng can suck a fat one. Even if 3 was hard and unfair, I atleast had some control over how I did dammit!
I feel like the people who complain about shogi are the same people who never realised that for almost every entry in the series you can just play the custom/special matches with pre-determined solutions that can easily be found on RUclips.
