Having been in a couple of countries in Europe and being a Filipino, in my opinion it does not belong in the Philippines. For such a poor country, the money in building this Temple should have been better serve in some kind of Charity. I understand his love for his wife, but spending this much for a building is a think is a disgrace to poor people of the Philippines. Why would want to build a building like you are back in Europe????? If you want to build a building, then build something that is more Filipino!

I live in cebu myself. it attracts people and when there is people there is business and when there is business there are jobs, especially in the lower class. why give them food when you can give them an opportunity to earn it themselves. it may not be the most efficient way but since that wasn't his intention in the first place, it's better than expected.
