Love this format for song lessons. I hate going to a lesson and the guy just wont shut up. 20 minute lesson for a three minute song. This is the way to do it. Not everyone is a beginner.
So like… uhhh… you want to put your finger right there on the fret like this…uhhh… and you have to be careful because this is one of those songs that’s got a lot of what I call “tricky licks.” Huhuhu… that was a phrase coined by one of my bandmates when we were performing this song at Jimmy’s Bar and Grill in Kalamazoo, Michigan back in 1987. That was way back in the stone age! Huhuhu! Anyway, you take your index finger and… oh, some people might call it the “ pointer finger,” and you put it right there on the third fret. Then you play the note three times… one… two… three. Okay now let’s start from the beginning and try that again… so this finger goes right here…
