Wonderful video; great to see the various vendors and presenters. Loved the Kalthoff Axes and the friction fire competition. Also nice to see Esee sent someone over to show their wares.
happy you enjoyed your visit to swedish bushcraft .we enjoyed watching .
I loved that video. thank you what a nice event to share with us Emelie
Emelie you are very lucky you live in a country whose laws on Knives is so relaxed, not so Scotland as here we have a limitation of 2.5 inch blade length and anything above it needs a license to prove what its meant to be carried for. Cheers for sharing a lovely day out!
Sweden is a truly beautiful country with a wonderful, intelligent, beautiful native people.
Well put! - A non native Swede.
I tried to learn Swedish but they had a different word for everything!!!!
What a great great video. You are a most gracious person.
I’m subscribed to many bushcraft channels run by people from all over the world. I’ve learned many valuable things during my bushcraft journey, but the most important lesson is that people, regardless of their country and culture, are far more similar than they are different.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
Thanks for the video Emelie.
Gracias por mostrar este festival, muy interesante, y el lugar muy lindo. 😊
Very, very interesting 👍. Thank you for taking us with 😊.
Great to see you back and making videos! Wonderful of you to take us along while you see the show! Thanks!!
Thank you :)
Thanks Emily, for another of your delightful videos; they just keep getting better. Impressive display of cutlery, I wanted every knife I saw ,,, :-) :-) Sweden is famous for its exemplary cutlery, and quality tools and I can understand why..... keep the videos coming, we all love them... Cheers.

This was a great video Emelie! I am a flintknapper in the US and I have many bushcraft friends that i hang out with. Emelie, great video! Nice to know those type of gatherings are also happening in Sweden. I'll add this to my list of things to do in Sweden when I visit. Thanks, Peter
Thank you for watching :)
Great to see events like this being supported. We have several in the UK. Some feature specialist/celeb speakers etc. some aim at more of a crafts/equipment and/or seminar orientation. Others are mainly aimed at the social 'meet-up' aspect which enable people who often met through the Bushcraft and wider Crafts on youtube to meet in person. The social meet ups are sometimes the only time many people meet face to face, so are invaluable.
It is great to see more and more getting involved , whichever country they might live in .
As long as we all remember the prime motive as being respecting and protecting the places we go to so we can 'go bush' ... :)
Exactly! I had a wonderful time and met so many kind people :)
Great!

Yeah Emily, so good to see you again, been too long. Enjoyed the video!

Oh that makes me so happy to hear!! :) Yes, this was a really great event :)
Very interesting video.
Fantastic video as ever Emelie. I'm soooo excited about my trip to Sweden and Norway in December for my 50th birthday
I hope you'll have a great time!!
Thank you :) Great to hear from you
That was fun. 👍✌️
Hi emelie nice to see the vlog
Great video Emelie ! In case you didn’t notice, you were the most beautiful bushcrafter in Sweden ! I had suspected that already but now here’s the visual proof !! 🤩
Hello Emelie, if you haven't already heard of him, you might be interested to learn about a man by the name of Richard Proenneke, who became something of a legend during his lifetime and perhaps even more so since his death. He was born and raised in Iowa, but spent a good portion of his life living in the Alaskan wilderness full-time, year-round and mostly alone. As survivalists go, Proenneke was demonstrably among the best and I think few would find fault with that statement. Living completely alone and isolated from the world, while remaining in good overall physical and mental health is a challenge few could meet the way he did. Keep up the good work, by-the-way; I always enjoy your videos and look forward to the next.
Brian
Great vlog . Silky are so sharp saws .use mine most days gardening😊 look FWD to more vlogs emelie .
Hi, Emelie! Thanks for this intriguing video. I love seeing this festival, it looks so cool. By the way, your video introduced me to Casström Knives and their innovative dangler/carabiner system. Because of your video, I am now the proud owner of one of their No. 10 Swedish Forest Knives and a dangler, so thanks for that and cheers! ⚔️😎👍
Excellent video Emelie's it looks as well Education ,
Hello Emilie, I’m a new subscriber. Got to your RUclips channel when it showed up to the recommended list and I must say you are an outstanding Bush girl. Looking forward to your next adventure Ciao y’all
Love the Tilley hat... :) I see it made its way across the pond from Canada.
The uk Bushcraft show has been a yearly event for several years now it’s took off in a big way xx
It's was great to be there☺. I am learning to do a lot of things with flintstone 😅🤠. And i am on video 😊8.10 🤠
Very interesting! I havent known before , that Sweden has such a festival. Next year I will definitely participate! Thanks a lot for shsring!
Thank you for watching! Maybe I'll see you there next year :)
Silke saws are the best. I have watched many bushcrafters and all have a Silke saw. I have one and used it to clear a local trail of dead fall. Outdoors people are always the best.
Missed this one I'll have to come over next year'
Nice !
I would have enjoyed being there at that festival and checking out the hardware, and camping gear they had there. I live in a rural area in Arkansas and love it too since I don't have to be around the city dwellers whom you can't trust. I was taught by my grandfather how to survive off the land for most of what we need and before I retired I purchased my first tractor and recently purchased another one last year and learned how to make the fuel for it from cooking oil which can be obtained from restaurants locally.
I have a small silky saw and I love it.
What a great idea! I enjoyed the fire starting competition: hope there wasn’t too much friction between the competitors. What next? Longest lasting fire? First to boil a kettle? Good display of hands-on gadgets too. I would go if I was closer. Thanks for letting us see.
Awesome video Emelie. Have to check that festival out next year. Greetings from Andreas on Off Grid Sweden 🇸🇪
Please do! Och kom gärna och säg hej ifall du ser mig där :)
@@survivalbushcraftwithemelie Absolut!
Thanks for the video. Looks like a fantasitic event. The axe that the young woman is working on looks like an amazing tool, I already signed up for her news list.
Good! That axe was amazing :)
Great video, Great day out.. Thanks for letting me tag along .. Brilliant news on your Revolution Race clothing.. Keep up the great work !
Thank you for being my camera guy

I've a silky saw, they're great, but you have to remember it's a pull saw! So you only pit pressure when pulling the saw towards you, and barely any at that, and no pressure when pushing
Very nice. Kind of reminiscent of the Mountain Men's yearly "Rendezvous" during the early 1800s here in the Pacific Northwest US. Of course, none of us alive today ever attended one, but there were contemporaneous accounts written about them, so we have a good record down through history. There are people whose hobby it is to re-enact the Rendezvous encampments and activities. Bush craft skills are everywhere at such re-enactment camps, since that is the knowledge base and survival skill set they possessed during the early 1800s. It must have been a lot of fun to attend the festival in Sweden. Good of you to interview some of the participants. Stay safe out there. Cheers.
Apple Stump Bushcraft Stuff and Things
I collect John Russell Green River knives. Every trapper and mountain man carried one!
13BRAVO REDLEG Nice.
Emelie is an excellent interviewer.
Jeg hadde håpet jeg kunne komme på denne festivalen, da jeg hørte om den første gang i begynnelsen av august, men da jeg ikke klarte å finne tid å ta reisen fra Norge, er det nest beste å få se video fra festivalen. Tusen takk, Emelie :-)
Tack!! Du får komma hit nästa år :):)
Emelie's Outdoor Adventures I will ;-)
Thanks
