Scott remakes the edible paint from Beau is Afraid. Then, Scott and Mark make some more inedible products edible. Just in case somebody has to eat lotion on camera!
Lawn jarts, candy cigarettes, dry cleaner plastic bags for Halloween costumes, riding our bikes without helmets anywhere we wanted only having to be home before dark... It's a wonder any of us survived. 😁 P.S. I remember using those candy cigarettes to mark hopscotch on a sidewalk; the lines were kind of thin, but they definitely worked like chalk.
@@ScottPropandRoll You can find a larger chalky stick in Fun Dip. You'd just have to file it to a cylinder, but it'll hold together much better than freeze dried ice cream or candy cigarettes. Plus, it's hard enough that it'll produce a nice audible crack when you bite into it like you'd expect chalk to sound like
An easy one would be some safe-to-consume Windex. It's useful, too. If you ever have the urge to run around public naked, you can drink some... it prevents streaking.
That bite from the deodorant stick was epic, that one actually tricked my brain a little because of the glaring bite mark. That's also the one that would get me as a store worker, funny that would be the trigger...., so you can be weird and drink Dawn all night until the name implies but then you're just weird, the SECOND you start chomping on some Degree I'm calling the loony bin
For dish soap I think Kayro syrup would be perfect! And for glue, hair gel, and all kinds of things because it's clear so you can make it any color you want! Anyhow thanks guys this show is so much fun to watch and I look forward to the next one! Take care and God Bless!
For glue, condensed milk would be perfect. Also, my first thought for deoderant was white chocolate. Just melt and mould into the cap. That thickened frosting is a dead ringer for plaster, caulk, and grout, though. Would be hilarious to get some sugar glass tiles and make an edible bathroom floor.
Prop design is probably hard to get into (just due to the small size of the industry, only so many people to do it) but man, you’ve always made me want to do this for a summer or something
This was awesome. Really enjoy watching you guys create realistic props, then eating them to prove that they worked as planned. Thanks for the video. I'd watch you create props any time.
I'm a chef and one of the things I think you could use for the paint would be would be white country gravy then add a little blue food coloring it would taste delicious

That was absolutely awesome, I was cracking up so hard towards the end when you started eating it because it looked so legit. Even though I knew it was fake, my brain was still like “don’t eat that!”
I wanna see y'all use the actual stuff first and then consume it. The hand lotion guy is everything I wanted and more. He's my spirit animal for sure. Also, maybe some harmless pranks of the guys walking out of the store. Then, y'all just start consuming some stuff while talking about your day like it's a normal thing
That was awesome! I've developed some things like this for my stage show, but definitely learned a lot to expand the ideas based on what you explained. I'm not one those people who hate puns, but in general, they've got to be a particularly good one for me to laugh, and the "deter gents" made me actually laugh out loud. Keep up the great work!
For the Dawn dish soap, you could sweeten it with simple syrup. Basically sugar dissolved in water and it's clear. A 2-to-1 sugar to water simple syrup would be shelf stable and probably as thick as Dawn, now that I think of it.
I was a background extra on a military-themed Hallmark Christmas movie. They told us we could eat the stuff...."but you won't want to." This was filmed in Sept 2020, btw...so no one wanted to touch any "food" or "drink" that anyone else had handled either. Enjoy your channel!
Instead of using a regular nail file since it is basically just sandpaper glued to a substrate. A diamond nail file or fine metal file would be your best options since they won't shed any grit onto the food.
Love it. More, please! And I think your paint formula looked a little better. Something about the opacity was a bit off in the _Beau_ recipe - although it looked great in the film.
Another simple edible glue to make, just mix water and flour. You can still use it like school glue too! Another thing you could use for fake glue would be to just use a liquid or runny royal icing, much tastier!
In Crimes of the Future there is a kid who eats a plastic waste basket. To me it looked like it could be a made of molded chocolate lightened up with some food dye. How do you think they did it?
This is unrealated but there is a scene in: That '90s Show in S3 E3 Achy Breaky Heart where the cap of a Snaple bottle is going back and forth of being open and closed. This is around the 3mim 37sec mark
Lol! You have Oh-pun season every time! The paint was real slick. But when you bit the fake pit-stop, that was genius. The lotion looked fun, too. Well, you had a pica day to make those!😂 (Love the typewriter sounds for your music, too.)
All looked pretty good. I think the glue was a slight bit thin, but if I wasn't looking for it, it would easily pass as glue. The deodorant I think was missing some of that more translucent or waxy properties of real deodorant, but also passable.
I now have recollections from a long time ago in school. The school glue we used in Australia was Clag brand, and instead of a squeeze bottle it came in a tub. The lid of the tub had a brush type thing, so you'd paint the glue on. Well it had on the label "edible". So yeah, I'm guessing most kids at least tried a taste. I certainly remember eating it, using the brush like a spoon. Wasn't bad tasting. I'm a little surprised Mark "put the glue in the fridge" though. Surely one would "stick the glue in the fridge". Maybe after making all that edible stuff, he was fed up with Scott's puns...😉
In Sweden, mostly during the post-war era, there used to be björkklister/birch paste available at the elementary schools. Something that the pupils had a tendency to eat. To many it tasted badly, but it smelled like almond. It stopped being used well into the 70's/80's.
I just remembered those candy cigarettes. Whatever they are made of would be perfect for edible chalk, the right texture and snap too
You’re right!!!!

P.S. I remember using those candy cigarettes to mark hopscotch on a sidewalk; the lines were kind of thin, but they definitely worked like chalk.
I'd guess some combination of cornstarch, sugar, and egg white would do the trick.

Hey everybody!! Tell me what you think!! This was a lot of fun to make and I hope you like it!!
🙄 It was edible....🤣
😮💨 yehhhh, I think on that paint one,
..you really _blue_ it
Mr. Scott, I love your show, but your jokes aren’t quacked up what they’re supposed to be
It was a very fun video to watch 👍
Crayons! If you could do crayons, I'd mark you down as a master.
P. S. Though it might leave you open for a Marine assault.
"Women don't like this, but it doesn't deter gents." That pun is soap perfect.
6:08 Never stop. Never stop with the puns! They really help prop up my day! 🤣🤣
I don't know about the paint or the dishsoap, but the dad jokes were sure coming thick and fast. 😂

The hard part would be if you had to do a bunch of takes, straight oil would start to make you feel terrible
It might be the right consistency but it would be a sticky mess.
With Karo syrup any actor had better not be diabetic.
I truly believe Scott got into this industry for all of the Dad jokes!
And we love it!! 😄😁👏🏼
He's beyond making shorts. He's now making pants!
14:58 the blue handlebar mustache is incredible 😆
