  • Waterfalls are few and far between in Florida; the state is as flat as a pancake. But, in north Florida, where some locations rise to dizzying elevations of hundreds of feet, and with limestone bedrock exposed, a few waterfalls may be found.
Falling Waters Falls drops 73 feet, but more than half of that distance is below ground level into a sinkhole. It's located a few miles south of Chipley, Florida.

Several other places claim waterfalls, but most are manmade.
    Some natural falls are:
Steinhatchee Falls, in Taylor County located at 29.74645N, 83.3422W,
Falling Creek Falls near Lake City,
    and
Weeping Ridge Falls at Torreya State Park, near Bristol (more like a water sprinkle). I've been to Torreya State Park MANY times over the past 50-years, and never saw anything I'd call a waterfall.
You can find videos of these other falls on RUclips.
