  • A lovely road trip back home from Tomales Bay. This was during me and my parents’ trip to Bodega Bay\Tomales Bay during the summer of 2021. It was like our 4th of July outing! Our trip lasted briefly, on July 4-5, 2021. Places visited included Tomales Bay Oyster Company (where we finally got to try some yummy oysters), Tony’s Seafood restaurant (late lunch on our 1st day), The Continental Inn (our hotel), and the Fishetarian Fish Market around the Lucas Wharf Restaurant and Bar (where we had a delicious lunch by the bay during our 2nd day). Certainly, it’s nice to escape the busy city life for a bit! (Footage taken July 5, 2021)
*Protected by a bay from the wild whims of the Pacific, Bodega Bay is a picturesque fishing village on the Sonoma Coast that harbors sights, sounds, and activities, by land or by sea, that call to the adventurer in all of us. Bodega Bay is located 90 minutes north of SF. Quiet and serene, Bodega Bay appeals to anyone seeking a restful wine country experience. This fishing village has grown into a tourist destination, offering fresh seafood restaurants, vacation rentals, and coastal views... As for Tomales Bay, this long, slender bay separates the Point Reyes Peninsula from the mainland. While it is picturesque, everyone comes here for the oyster. On the western side of the bay, the Point Reyes Peninsula is primarily a 71,000-acre park, complete with pristine beaches, hiking trails and unobstructed views of the coastline. On the eastern side, small communities line the waterfront with a wide selection of delicious dining establishments and a variety of activities, entertainment, and cultural attractions to suit every interest. There is no lack of things to do in Bodega Bay. Whether it’s golf, a day at the spa, hiking, beaches, camping, or shopping, it’s really easy to have exciting and fulfilling days in and around Bodega Bay!
