The full show was around 20 minutes. My arm got tired so I had to shorten it a little bit. They close the parking inside the park so we have to park in the surrounding neighborhoods. It's best to be there a couple hours before the actual fireworks show to get a good spot. The area filled up fast within the last hour prior to the show.

Any notion as to where most severe thunderstorms happen in CA?
As I have observed in my years of chasing, many severe t-storms tend to occur out in the Central Valley, including the San Joaquin Valley and Sacramento Valley. The valley is like California's mini version of the Midwest/tornado alley. And much of the convective t-storms occur during spring or autumn.

I got these from our local Dollar Tree store and on Amazon.com. Pretty cheap (although they fade within a year and the petals break off easily in high winds).
Unfortunately they get worn out and the petals tend to detach and rip after a year or so due to the elements. I guess you get what you pay for lol.
