6. TV Spot for "Shanghai Surprise" (A critical and commercial flop...just like Sean Penn and Madonna's marriage! :rimshot:)

Snickers- There’s something so satisfying watching the cascading pile of peanuts, the Snickers bar getting pulled apart, revealing the insides, and the man holding out a pile of peanuts, closing his hand, and suddenly revealing a wrapped Snickers bar in its place throughout this commercial.
Le Tigre- For a short animated moment at the end of this commercial, it really showed how much personality and expression that tiger character has.
The electronics prices are always an eye opener.
05:47 - A song that literally keeps spelling out the brand name NESTLES shouldn’t sound THIS good! But god help me it does! XD
🎶Creamy white, dreamy white🎶 😳
After a strong debut supporting role in the comedy Desperately Seeking Susan, Madonna was struck with a string of bad decisions in films which kicked off with Shanghai Surprise, and pretty much carried the rest of her film career.
Playing for Keeps was written and directed by Bob and Harvey Weinstein, before they became huge with their Miramax studio, and before Harvey became known for things other than making movies.
I was wondering who else caught those names
I have NOT been able to find the full version of that anti-crack PSA from WNBC on here, but now my long search is OVER! That was on all the time on Saturday and Sunday mornings as they were doing syndicated cartoons and other programs! WOW! I love it! DON'T DO IT! DON'T DO IT!
As for Sue Simmons, well she'll go down in New York news history for that slip up!
Rene Russo in the Vitalis ad. Not really surprised, she did a lot of commercials before her movie career took off.
That Vitalis ad gives me strong Patrick Bateman vibes…
Don't recall seeing the Right Guard ad in this collection before (have seen another version on RUclips which had some guys in one-eyed alien-looking masks and a singer who looked like she could have been Taylor Swift's mother)
3:55 I never knew America made its own version of the famous British Mars bar jingle “a Mars bar a day helps you work Rest and play”
(sidenote, over in England, the Milky Way bar was there version of the mars barH
