Hey dude, looks like we are on the same page regarding feeding. I’m still feeding my Calvus a premium flake food twice a day since they are juveniles and known to grow very slow. I also feed the Jumbo and 3mm to the haps. Your fish and the aquariums look awesome. Thanks for sharing 👍

Another great video! I get all of my food from Super Cichlids as well. I have had pretty good luck with North Fin fry starter and then to NF community and then to NF Cichlid 1mm and so on. Avoiding flakes altogether.

Man I got a electric blue African cichlid and he just hides behind the filter! Every day! He doesn’t even comes out to eat. It’s getting me mad and not wanting to get any more
Junior Hunter how long have you had it for? And what are your parameters?. If water checks out ok perhaps its either stressed or not well. I had a peacock that did the same. Turns out i had an amonia spike and it got an infection as a result. Its all sorted now but took a week for it to normalise.

Blondie-11 my ph is 7.6 when I last did a test, but I always drop food in an corner where he hides and usually eats when he wants to. But he always hiding and I tried to put him with other cichlids but he was fighting everything. Even killed one of my oscars. So I have him by himself
Junior Hunter and your amonia and nitrates? My guess is either he is insecure or something else is bothering him.
