Matt - You have to get your Dad's Camaro restored for him! You have the means and you know the right people. As a fairly old guy, trust me when I say, if your Dad still has the pile of parts, it still means something to him! He may never have said it out loud, but he has thought to himself, "one day, I'll fix that car....."
Muscle rod shop might be a good place to send it. Lol
Matt?
We got to get Matt on this. A great idea 💡
Exactly.
@@decker417ify oh 100% 😂
To say the guys in that shop are talented is the understatement of the century.

Matt should totally get his pop's car fixed that he broke in high school
For sure man
I bet Brandon would be happy to put it all back together for him.
How about it Matt!??

Brandon is super talented, and comes off very modest about his skills. Matt definitely found the right person for the job!!!!! Can't wait to see it finished!!
Yea his lines are so clean. He's basically an armoror
Matt! Brad from Moonlite Custom Fab and Machine here… you know, the guy that made some of your engine parts :) I’d love to make you a billet Cuda badge! I just need some easy dimensions from you or Brandon.
Does anyone on here know the best way to get ahold of Matt if he doesn’t see this comment?

Perhaps trying getting a hold of Bunker Branding?
I messaged muscle rod shop and they are going to try and get me in touch with Matt or just hook me up with dimensions and I’ll go from there!

Or on his dad's channel.
It's about time to have Brandon come out to the Demo Range for some "cross-channel" content! He could bring some stuff to put "cooling holes" into...
Matt might have to sight in his guns for that, though. Might need more precision.
We think you should steal your Dads Camero and get it To Brandon so he can put it back together.
By the way, you and Brandon are dangerously good together with your ideas.
I just realize that Matt just conveniently has pretty much all the shops and services a man could want in his hometown or close to it. Best of all, they're all made in the usa and of high quality.

I love the chemistry between Matt and Brandon so much. I'm going to be sad when this project is done.
Talk to Jimmy DiResta (A Maker on RUclips) for you Cuda logo, He made his own logo for his truck, plus it would be an awesome crossover.

Is it me or is Matt in ALL the youtubes lately?! I love the first spoiler!! Now I know how turbo's work!! Sweet!! Thanks for bringing us along on this build! This is so much fun!! Way to support your local businesses!!
Cummins-cuda badge ideas. Easiest would be to get those adhesive backed type badges and then just cut off the c on the cuda one and place them together. Could possibly turn out kind of janky but also maybe not.
Could also design and 3D print one pretty easily but, depending on the type of plastic used, it might not hold up to the weather and heat of Texas for the long term, not sure. In which case you could make a silicone mold off of a 3D print to cast epoxy resin in. That would need some post process finishing (sanding and painting) but could turn out the best if done well.
I doubt Matt will see this but I would totally do that for him. I don't have any credentials to show for, just a maker hobbyist/ DIY guy but I have the skill set and tools to do so.
This is likely going to be a $150,000+ car. There's just no way a 3d printed or DIY arts and crafts stencil cut logo is going on it. No offense, it just wouldn't do the car any justice.
@@Slaytanic454 No, offense taken and I agree the finish and quality needs to be as good or better than the factory badges. But I think you are under estimating what can be done with 3D printing (especially with SLA, MJF, DMLS, ect 3D printers) or resin casting + post-process finishing.
It could even be machined out of aluminum or something then painted/polished.
There are a lot of options really. I'm sure someone who does this kind of thing is already in touch with Matt but I thought I'd throw in out there.

That dude does AMAZING metal work. In all the years that I've done custom fab work and after all the wide body treatments I've ever done, nothing even comes close to those quarters! Absolutely beautiful work. The hard part is copying it on the other side but I have no doubts that this man can pull it out of his hat.... Absolutely beautiful metal fab work. I can't wait to see the finished project.
Matt, at first I wasn’t really on board with the Cuda, but that’s going to be one sweat monster! It’s actually looking far nicer than I initially thought it would. I’ll bet you’re mighty excited to get this beast done.

Matt will channel the spirit of LS George and slam them rims so hard not only will his fenders bend yours will too. Yes I'm joking... ish.

Dude running that turbo shop absolutely oozes that he loves his job that's fantastic and some seriously beautiful work. My 2010 6.7 Cummins might need a couple of parts from him
My '97 5.9 definitely does. I'm rebuilding it then swapping it into my 1994 Revcon 4x6 motorhome.
That body work is is on another level! At certain angles that looks completely stock.

I like how you went in depth about the dually fender because in the thumbnail you can see how it looks factory as dude who did it mentions! Gnarly job man 🤙

I have a twin turbo SHO and it was really cool seeing how all of it's done. Also, what a cool company! They seem professional and co to work for.
Those old ducktail spoilers do be lookin pretty nice tho…
I can see Lincoln driving it to high school
Hopefully he does a fiberglass mold of the fenders before Matt hits them
These guys are proud in their work and it shows!!!
That first fender extended would be sick! It's coming along nicely! Good work everyone involved!
Excited to see a burnout with this thing
The first spoiler is definitely the way to go
100% agree. That one just looks like it belongs there.
A ducktail/dovetail spoiler would be pretty cool for the Cuda
I don't know the first thing about building cars, but Brandon mentioned using a metal piece rather than plastic in the wheel well in his previous video. I feel like with plastic, water can get trapped between the original fender and dually fender, which would eventually rust. I'd just weld those two together to create a better seal to keep the water out.
The amount of work going in to this car (and every other car in that shop) is incredible! Good job guys!
We need updates like this on the bronco, it doesn’t get enough attention
