- While shooting the recently released short film, The Chase with the 2021 BMW S1000RR Sarge got a chance to spend over a month with the Bavarian Superbike and travel over 2000kms putting him in commanding position to understand if the new bike can take forward the legacy of its predecessor which was widely regarded as the most well rounded superbike that money can buy. And this is what he had to say after his month long stint in this comprehensive review!

2 months ago I was on the Same Road with the Same Bike and I'm seeing Sarge at the same place. It's close to 4 months since I bought this S1K and most of my riding was touring. I will be honest, your review points are exactly what I feel about the bike. The pros, the things they could improve, exactly what I felt (every single detail including backlit switches). The BMW s1000rr was one of the best litter class bikes in its segment. It was game changer when it was launched by producing 200 hp of power. It was also most technological advanced with superb Electronics package. Now in its new avatar the S1000rr is a beast, with more performance, better electronics, equipments, more aerodynamic. The design looks very modern sleek and compact , may be little bit Smaller compared to old model. Looks almost like 600 in terms overall size. Overall a great package for the money. 🤩🤩🤩😍S1000RR. My favourite is M sport version.

Sagar I think zx10r makes much more value than this as it cost 4-5 lakhs lesser as well make almost the same amount of power as bmw so should I consider this bike or go for zx10r because I want a track weapon to ride around track as well as zx10r is good on refinement
If you are only looking at the track, the 10R makes more sense

Wonderful vid Sarge! Is the riding posture significantly more comfortable than 2021 ZX-10R's?
Have never ridden a bike with electronic suspension, so, is the ride quality offered by DDC comparable to something like say a Ninja 1000 or just a little better than standard suspensioned supersports like ZX-10R?
Yes the ergos on the s1000rr are much more relaxed compared to the super high pegs on the 10r. The ride qyality is similar to what u experience on the zx14r. Nice and plush with the dynamic damping
