My son just bought a new Halo about a month ago. Now he rolls 220-235 games even when he drops the ball, swings his bowling arm sideways, or 'loses' the ball out to the first board! Man, how the game has changed since I bowled back in the 1970s and '80s! We always were trying to fight the oil and get some hook on the ball. With the Halo all my son has to do is throw the ball somewhere around the first to third arrows and he gets strikes like I've never seen before! The ball hits and mixes the pins like they were in a blender! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Almost anywhere he hits close to the head pin he carries at least nine pins.
I don't know about anyone else but these full uncut reviews that you do are awesome. Please keep doing these as I love hearing your thought process and also seeing the bad shots too.
When discussing the layout, etc., at the beginning our your video, it would be very helpful if you were actually holding the ball and pointing to what you were describing. Majority of us are not well versed in layout, pin placement, etc.
bought both the halo solid and halo pearl when they released in 2019, i bowl 2 times a week and they are still going strong. well worth the money and beautiful down and in shots with them

I have a Hyroad pearl right now that I love. I like how easy it gets down the lane before hooking. But I’ve been eyeing this Halo Pearl. Do you see a benefit to a Halo Pearl being in my bag next to my hyroad pearl? I kinda want something I can hook the whole lane with. Idk if my hyroad pearl can do that. I’m a slower speed 2 handed btw. Thanks
What are the pattern details. I haven't found a shot here in my town that allows me to cover that many boards with it. But I do love the ball.

With the layout you have for the halo is it for higher rev bowlers or is it pretty versatile

I had my young daughter sitting in my lap while playing chess against a Grand Master, I lost (oh my, bug surprise there, LOL) but I toughed it out for hours trying to get a draw since I couldn't see how to actually win. Have fun !!!
JR, did you think the AstroPhysics and Halo Pearl reacted the same?
For me the Halo Pearl is a bit earlier, smoother, and more round. The AstroPhysix is later, sharper, faster, and more aggressive off the spot. They do play similarly on the lane, but the shapes are noticeable.

You need like an idol / pro motion and then like an all road or something a bit poppier that isn't a pearl. Maybe like the hyroad or the new wild streak

This I definitely do not agree with. Sometimes people just dont match up with certain balls
When the Hy-Road first released in 2008, I threw a couple of demo games with it, and it did not look very good for me. Couldn't get the motion or continuation I was looking for. Same with the Hy-Road pearl, All-Road, Hy-Road X, Nano etc. Something about this line that I just can't get a good look from no matter the lay out. The Hy-Road is regarded as one of the greatest pieces ever made. They STILL produce it to this day. Belmo uses it on the regular. Two of my sport shot league teammates always carry one in their bags and they make it look incredible. I drilled the Halo Pearl day one and I'm in love with this ball, whereas my teammates weren't so crazy about it. So yes, JR is absolutely right sometimes a ball just does not work for your game. Doesn't mean it's a bad piece necessarily but that's why manufactures make a variety of balls to fit everyones wants and needs.

You bowlers are funny. All these balls are exactly the same. The difference from one brand to the next is minuscule at best. You will believe anything a ball manufacturer will tell you to believe your getting something for that money you spend lol.
