    I have recently, as in 2 weeks ago, discovered the many health benefits of Magnesium. Apart from the spray ( which I make myself, you get 5kgs of Mag Chloride for the same price as one wee bottle from the Chemist ;) ) last week I also started taking a 500mg capsule of magnesium Glycinate before bed. I slept like a log BUT >>>>>>>>>>>> After 2 nights i noticed I was waking up with a clear nose. For decades I have been waking up with either both, or one side totally blocked. After night 3 on the Mag Glyc. I woke up and it felt like I had been sleeping in a meadow in the Alps all night LOL .......... My nasal passages were both completley clear and have been ever since .......... You know when something is working when it cures things you did not take it to cure . Thanks for the video Clare.

    hey so do you still use it everyday? Do you find the effects to last more than one day?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  3 года назад +2

      Hi. I don’t use it nearly so much because, since lockdown and working from home, the muscle tension in my neck has eased and I haven’t been getting the headaches. I think my long and frequent commutes were a big problem. I found when I did have a lot of muscle tension that I had to use it daily and sometimes apply more later in the day to help. For bad headaches I would massage it into my temples and the back of my neck.

    What kind of oral magnesium did you take?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 года назад +1

      I took magnesium citrate for a while for irregular heartbeat. Couldn’t tell you which brand or what strength because it was a few years back. The spray seems to work better for me though.

      The Honest Channel hi sorry one more question this has been a big help. How long did it take the spray to relax your neck and eye muscles?

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  4 года назад +2

      Always happy to answer questions! I felt the spray helped pretty quickly. Looser within a couple of days. I now spray my neck and shoulders daily and I don’t get the tightness or headaches.

      So sorry to hear that. I’m not a medical professional so am not in a position to advise you. I can tell you I believe magnesium has helped reduce the frequency and intensity of my headaches so may be worth trying . Really wish you well.

    How long did it take to work

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  3 года назад +2

      It depends on the ailment. For headaches sometimes it has worked very quickly - within half an hour - but it doesn’t shift every headache. For cramps and muscle ache it can provide a bit of relief fairly quickly, too, but I think there is a cumulative effect with using it over time.

      @thehonestchannel  3 года назад

      There’s some interesting information on magnesium in relation to diabetes on the Healthline website www.healthline.com/health/diabetes/magnesium-and-diabetes Definitely a good idea to talk to your doctor, particularly as oral supplements may be more beneficial here

    ITS A LIE STUFF BURNT MY SKIN!!!!,

  • @chiengina
    @chiengina 3 года назад +4

    Magnesium oil spray worked fine for me on knees, hips … but putting it on back of neck made my mouth bleed very dark blood in the morning when I rinsed my mouth with Listerine, and spit out, I saw the very dark blood spit. Never experienced anything like this before. Anyone had the same experience?

    • @thehonestchannel

    I guess I fail to understand how minerals which are inorganic can be absorbed through the skin if our bodies cannot absorb them internally without bonding to something organic like vitamin C.

    • @thehonestchannel
      @thehonestchannel  3 года назад +2

      There are plenty of studies pointing to its effectiveness for treating muscle stiffness, though there is a debate over whether it raises magnesium levels overall. As you say, it’s low cost enough to be worth trying.
