😴What is ASMR?
ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, which, is a complex name for a very simple, yet, relaxing feeling. Typically, ASMR is a tingling sensation that begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. Everyone responds to ASMR stimuli differently, so it is important to view an ASMR video with an open mind if you are only just discovering ASMR videos. There are thousands of different ASMR triggers here on RUclips. Explore role plays, trigger videos and whispered rambled videos to find the triggers that speak to you.

this is the only thing that has been able to stop my anxiety in it's tracks. I have depersonalization-derealization disorder, and long story short, when I have anxiety attacks (especially at night) I have a warped sense of reality which also amplifies sound, light, and emotion. It's purely terrifying. I've been trying to calm down by myself but it doesn't really work, and last night I was especially desperate for sleep. I listened to you and your voice grounded me and gave me a sense of reality. Your voice is a soft voice that can somehow talk over loud chaos because the chaos isn't real. if that makes any sense. It feels amazing to be able to breathe rhythmically again; sometimes my breathing patterns seem endless. I just want to thank you so much for your amazing content and how you completely immerse yourself into your role play and asmr videos as a whole. I rambled, sorry.

I am so grateful for your videos. Especially this one. While I was trying to find my way out of an abusive relationship, this saved me from fear and loneliness regularly. I am going through a lot of change and grief and your voice is so comforting.
Thank you for making this. I just experienced an awful, surprise panic attack and my heart rate was in the 150s and I was shaky and nauseous. It almost felt similar to situations of immense stress, and your voice really helped me relax and feel calm and at ease.

I suffered from panic attacks for years. the only thing that I found to break free from them is not focus on them when they come. the less attention I gave them the less powerful they became, to the point of them not bothering me anymore. distraction....then focus on things that are positive and make you happy. but key is just not focusing on them. there not real.

I have to come out and say this but I feel like as a guy my anxiety is impossible to manage, I can't cope with it well and I swear all the people in my life that have tried to help end up giving up and cutting off any communication with me. There's so much to it and I don't know what is what or how to cope with any of it.
zjbx Sorry to hear about that. I find that people do this too. Hopefully the more people become educated about problems like anxiety, the more they will be accepting of it and willing to help people who are dealing with it. As for now, please try and stay positive. Keep trying new ways to improve your mental health. All the best 😔😌

Thank you for making this video. You are really talented. I am from the US, but lived in New South Wales, Jervis Bay a while back. I taught in some schools. I miss the kookaburras, they would wake me up. Anyway, if I ever have a panic attack again I will remember this video : )

I suffer from panic attacks and while I didn't have one today, this resonated. I became really calm, though I did have tears running down my face, hah. Tears of "I'm so glad someone gets this."

Thank you so much for making this video. I just woke up at 1:44 AM in the morning to get a glass of water when i was hit with a heartbreaking message that crushed my whole world. I just laid there in bed staring in the dark, feeling cold. I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. My body started to shake, and my hands and feet started feeling cold. I've experienced a panic attack only once before (making this my second), so I knew what was coming. (Mind you, at this moment I'm on vacation alone, and no one is there for me to calm me down.) My heart would start to race, and i'd start to really panic. But this time was different...because this time, you were there to reassure me. I thought I was alone and that I was crazy. But this video helped me so much. Slowly, my hands and feet started to feel so so warm and I felt so calm and at peace, despite how bad I still feel right now. Thank you. It's because of you I'll be able to make it through the morning with warm hands and feet.

i just want to say something nobody cares about
I am (very) afraid of the dark and the idea that it could be something there that won't let me achieve my dream (being, staying alive, leave my current house and be happy in a very fucking tall building that will make me stop being afraid of windows or glass doors)
this asmr video has made me capable of looking at that dark abyss that comes from my bedroom door and not see an eye or a hand just crawling inside and I am very thankful for it.
