It's easy to see where Seadoo aims its market. Calm waters to medium chop.. and that's all of their hulls.

Fair observation. Unfortunately open water riding does seem to be a bit niche, and largely in Australia / New Zealand. Here's hoping the manufacturers can consider a hull design in future that works well in flat water as well as in chop.

Just more confirmation that Yamaha dominates the entire Industry Segment with its eyes firmly set upon the truly vast US Boating Industry writ large for center and dual console of i think up to 26 feet in length now.
At idle this form factor gets absolutely superb fuel mileage should be noted as well so "yet another face-plant by Sea-Doo" with what should be a top of the line Rotax powerplant that simply isn't...tho claims through a ridiculously high price to be.
Polaris remains the "dark horse" in the Industry as the lawsuits from being a junk defense contractor force this amazing Brand to either pick up their game or go bk.
For Sea-Doo they have always been more than happy with producing junk for the USA market which they know of as such.
Good luck with that as a winning strategy.
