Cornwall is such a beautiful part of our island and it looks like you had great weather while you were there. I am Devonshire myself and lived in Cornwall for many years, its stunningly beautiful and a very relaxed area in the uk. I still live in Devon near north Dartmoor and that is another amazing place to go and vist. I hope you enjoyed your time here and you are very welcome to come back. Btw: as you found out Uber pretty much doesn't exist in devon and Cornwall unless you are in one of the bigger towns an also check out boscastle when it was flooded by extremely heavy rain fall. I am so glad you left London behind to go explore.
I’m from the uk and I do love visiting Devon and Cornwall on holiday they do have some beautiful places. I’ve stayed in a few cottages on farm land and caravans over the years and it’s beautiful and peaceful where you can watch the sunset
[UK] Don't think I've ever seen two such country-capable young Americans (and not many older ones), although you 'uber' expectation was a bit optimistic ^^. > Tip for foreigners walking on country roads: as we dirve on the left in Britain, pedestrians are taught to walk on the right (but it's not required or anything). Doing so means you are facing the traffic on your side of the road, and can see what they are doing best. Similarly, cars that you don't see coming up behind you don't take you by surprise.
