I am Devonshire myself and lived in Cornwall for many years, its stunningly beautiful and a very relaxed area in the uk. I still live in Devon near north Dartmoor and that is another amazing place to go and vist. I hope you enjoyed your time here and you are very welcome to come back. Btw: as you found out Uber pretty much doesn't exist in devon and Cornwall unless you are in one of the bigger towns an also check out boscastle when it was flooded by extremely heavy rain fall. I am so glad you left London behind to go explore.

I’m from the uk and I do love visiting Devon and Cornwall on holiday they do have some beautiful places. I’ve stayed in a few cottages on farm land and caravans over the years and it’s beautiful and peaceful where you can watch the sunset

Tintagel Castle was built in the early 13th century.The only place King Arthur was born is in people's minds.If he was "born" at all it would have been post Roman so at least 800 years before the castle was built

That sundae looked amazing! Hope you went to St James Park (the one next to Buckingham Palace) because the animals are so used to the tourists you can sit on one of the benches and be approached by the squirrels and parrots (may have been finches).
