I’m playing a piano/organ duet of I WAITED FOR THE LORD this morning in church, and am using this unspeakably beautiful rendition as an immediate reference. Each note portrayed here, whether vocal or musical, is absolutely clear and easily understood. Felix might have been proud to listen to this…

Belo texto de Mendelssohn. Emocionante. Esperar pelo SENHOR é compensador. Excelente o dueto e o coral bem entrosado nas respostas. Era o que a regência esperava. O crente em Jesus conhece a prontidão do SENHOR em ouvir nossas orações. Ele está perto. Graças a Deus.

The solists have perfect voices for Mendelssohn's high notes, and they perform their part exellent, and with joy. And the director's tempo is right, and brings a little taste of spiritual to the piece - it is often performed too slow. The choir an the organist is OK. I agree with the others - this is outstanding!
