This wisdom is really feeding my soul. Thank you. I wake up in the mornings ( at times ) saying what can I do today for you today God. With all my humanness I still want to serve you.
For some reason and from time to time, this man seems to have a soothing effect on MY soul. He has a gentleness about him yet, intelligent to be sure. I like what he says and I am not Jewish. So what anyway, he makes sense about what he speaks on.....thank you, I shall be watching MANY of his programs on YOU TUBE and perhaps learn something even at my older age of 75. You can NEVER stop learning right up to the end.....Peace to all and be safe and healthy out there through this terrible disease that plagues our world at this time...(Covid-19 virus)...BE WELL> God bless one and all.
Words if wisdom.thank you.
Of wisdom!
So find my mench that we may help each other serve Hshm to the best of our ability, then contributions would be easier.
who is interested in the world ? i am here to live my/his life
Finally, I understand why Chabad teaches that Jews have a Godly soul and non Jews don't: Around 21 minutes Manis Friedman says this: "Its just a difference on where your starting and where you are headed for. If you start with a Godly soul, you are starting off with Godliness and trying to apply it to your life, which is human and physical and mundane. Without the Godly soul you are starting off from the physical, from the mundane and you trying to elevate yourself to something more divine, something more holy. So we are coming at it from different directions, but the goal is the same: a Godly world.
Interviewer: "So you are saying that just because you are not Jewish doesn't mean you are not here to contribute to making this world a place for God?"
Manis: 'Correct'
It is so liberating to let go of this quest for religiosity and instead just do something for G-d
