Ignore all the negative comments. This video saved me $700 to take it to the shop just for labor! It took a few hours but saved me tons of money. I probably will just remove the bumper next time but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without this video! You went over all of it really well and I was able to find all the screws with no problem, some people in the comments just don’t have common sense or a good eye!! Thanks again!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video, reading the comments I removed the full wheel lining at front tyre and obviously the tyre, this made that awkward screw much easier to remove. Also I removed the bolts on the wing just to give bit more room to remove and replace the light.Thank you again, your video was a massive help mate cheers 🍻
The time you spent working through this and also filming it has saved me a whole heap of time today. Thank you!! Though had to break up the activity as it was just above freezing here today 🥶
Good video. I always appreciate more these kind of videos that show struggles I'd usually have with most DIYs, than the kind "aaaaand here we are, it's the next day, unfortunetely my battery died yesterday so I can't show you what I did, but here it is ________ (insert final goal here).
Thank you my man, saved me a trip to the shop just to take the headlight out, just to take it to another place who fixes them 😁👌 Very good informative vid. I also took the wheel and the front fender liner as it was quite easy to do, cause fender liner is a 2 part, and gave much better access to the far right bolt. Took me an hour to do this first time. Kudos to you
I need to do the same job hence why I'm on this video and if I'm honest I'm not looking forward to it but my mechanic priced me €300 just for labour so thank you for this video I definitely will be doing it myself
Tnx for the guide it helped me alot it was easier with tyre off and removing plastic behind the tyre. Also put duck tape on upper side of the bumper where headlight is.
In the shop we always move tire inward depending on side before removing bumper then again after side is complete gives a lot more room and out since way from the your shoulder
Hello brother, thank you for the video. I want to ask something: my left headlight is leaking water, so I need to remove it. Do you think it’s better to remove the entire bumper, or should I do it the way you did?
thanks mate but it seems to be alot more pain than just simply removing the bumper. Bumper removal on F10 is so much easier and also you suggested removal of the wheel which is more painful sometimes than removing few bolts on the bumper.

Thanks for the comment!
As I have front lip installed which makes full bumper removal more of a chore. Thank you for this video. I really appreciate it

front fender liner?, where is that?
@@knaldeglad plastic bit in front of the wheel, inside an arch, held by like 10 screws, has a hatch to access headlight bulbs

Pain in the backside job , ur vid helped me find that 4th bolt thanks next time it will be easier
Hi do i need to code the headlight if im replaceing it to new one?
I learn that i should just remove the bumper. Good vid though. Thank you.
No, just remove the tire.
Remove everything 😅
Way much faster and easier with the bumper removed
What is this Verizon wait/hold music.
TMobile..
Hello brother, thank you for the video. I want to ask something: my left headlight is leaking water, so I need to remove it. Do you think it’s better to remove the entire bumper, or should I do it the way you did?
Depends.. but I would say maybe easier to remove the whole bumper.
Not many screws left holding that bumper on. I mean you’re already 3/4 way there.
How long has this taken?

Thanks for the tip!
A dealer said “it’s just a bulb 💡!” I showed him this. 😂
Good information. Thx man
Thank you for the video
really helpful - thanks
Thanks for the vid helped a lot!
What year is your F10?
2016
@@TECHIELIFE I have a yellow halo on driver’s side. Possible LED module. Thank you for the video.
How to break everything without fixing anything 🎉
Nice job!
Why you recording if you doing first time? For a normal work you need remove front bumper
i couldnt really see where the bolts were.
Highlighting them would have been great.
Excellent
all bmw 3 or 5 series white cars always and I mean always has some rub on either front or back bumpers. #Fact15
😂😂😂😂 change the title of the video to - 101 reasons why you SHOULD remove your bumper when removing headlights
Too long of a title. Lol
Why dont do it the right way and remove the bumper? Literally bumper comes off in 15 mins and not risking scratching it.
I dont get it,you actually removed bumper just not all the way
What part don't you get...
@@TECHIELIFE literally what i wrote. Title is "...without bumper removal" and the bumper is removed
@@headlightdesigngradacac just not all the way ...
At this point I guess it would be quicker to just remove the entire bumper
Maybe
Exactly
Bloody hell i wish i still had my xc90! Pull two clips out and that was it!!
Tbh at that point bro just remove the whole bumper, no point going through all that effort to remove half of the bumper 😂
Nah. I didn't.
Dude what do you mean you basically removed the bumper, talking about I did it without removing the bumper lol
But bumper didn't touch the floor!
Ok
Would have been a lot easier if you just took the bumper off. The proper way to remove the headlights.😂
Just remove the bumber u waste more time by trying to work around it
Easier to just remove the bumper
It’s like watching Jerry’s Kids trying to figure it out on the fly! Don’t post unless u actually know what you’re doing.
Aye aye captain!
Hopeless video 😂
