B Davies hi dear
Thanks for this video and i appreciate the conversation and I want to go in Australia someday. .
Very helpful video... Interesting to see you challenge the conventional wisdom that it is easy to find a job. I expected to turn up in Sydney and have something within a few days, but I shall definitely be rethinking this strategy now. Due to fly on September 2nd though and I can't wait!
Woo Hoo! I always love it when I see a new video from you :) Thank you for the tips. It is wonderful to see that you are doing well.
Thank you so much and you are very welcome too! =]

Hi
Im australian and i cant find work in australia, good luck to travellers
Im Canadian, and here there are TONS of aussies working. Maybe you'll have better luck out here haha
Tristan Voros I've tried applying for Vancouver for over 2 years and there system and regulations to get a visa to live or working visa is a joke . Your British citizen and you end up doing English test to see if you speck English really . And when I went over there's holiday I'm finding out there's 15% white ,10% black then 75% of Asian that don't speck clear of English. I don't mind that system what's the best candidate in there country but it has to make sense and stop chopping and changing for people wanted to live there.
Cassandra Amore The irony in your comment is unreal...its speak and not "speck"...clear English and not "clear of English"
maybe you're too picky
dude!! this is why natives hate immigrant lmao. although, maybe, some. and im planning on it.
Just got my working holiday visa approved this video was really helpful!!!
This video amazing! So honest and helpful, thank you so much! xxxx
It reminds me of getting a job in Australia at the first time! I actually went around whole Sydney CBD with my resume. When I gave my resume to a cafe in the Rocks for the first time, I felt like it was the most nerve-racking moment in my entire life XD.

Why
In Australia you need to have ages of experience even for the most no brain job that you can possible imagine. Also, you need a certificate for everything! Sending resumes through Gumtree or seek won't get you anything. You have to call, you have to go in person, and always always talk with the manager or supervisor, if you hand over your resume to one of the staff they will put your resume in the rubbish as soon as you leave.
Leonardo Alba living in Brisbane I wholeheartedly agree. All the entry level jobs are now unpaid internships
U cant complain, its stonishing how Mallorca (spain) is. not one job. crisis, no money, nothing. it may be one of the worst places to find job in Span, or even South Europe. I want to travel to Australia, to find some kind of fun travelling and job. I thnk it should be easier than in my 1Millon habitants island. Australia not even 30Million, 1000 times bigger.
Thank you for these handy tips!
Lian Galliard hi

Hey Ally! Im thinking about backpacking by myself, but i've only worked for my father at his grocery store.. My question is what if i dont have any experience at working? Can i still get a job?
hi
i'm a mechanic of cars & big trucks ....tell me pls if i can get a jobe easily or not ?
this is perfect!! I just booked my one way to Brisbane !!!!
Claudia A hi dear
Thank you for the great info. I am 57 and a U.S. citizen - do I have a shot of getting even a crappy job?
Bloody GORGEOUS!!!
Why did you not mention how cool living in the outback can be while working the many jobs on offer there? The wildlife, landscapes, being able to see billions of stars at night. They're the kind of memorable experiences you can have that are very different to the place you came from. I don't think Australian cities are that much different to other cities around the world, why be in such a hurry to stay there?
where should I work to gaze the milky way by night and do enjoyable work in the outback by day?? Canadian dude here looking to get away and have some good times for a year in Australia!
MrBlonde1703 answer him please
MrBlonde1703
Hi brother

Hey! Loved the video and your personality plus you're really cute too.
So, what would you recommend for a pharmacy technician and soon to be a cardiac sonographer do for employment search. Currently live in the U.S. and thinking of moving to maybe cydney or similar place. Please let me know of any agency's or site I can go to.
Thanks in advance ; )
Very lovely lady. Love the accent was in Australia for about a week in Dec 2014. I enjoyed it a lot. Try Tokyo, you'll love Japanese culture.
Just a warning for those potentially moving to Perth, Western Australia: there are only an abundance of jobs when a mining boon is underway. A mining boon happens once every 4 years and disappears for 2. In that time, expect to find little, or no mid/entry level jobs. I've been through about 4 of them now and I'll be honest: they hurt. I'm trying to escape Perth in fact, but Its tough. Cheers mates - a broke Aussie looking for work haha
first of all , you're so pretty and funny ^^ .. Just I'd Like to say I loved ur videos and ur method of explanation
Keep going .. you're the best
apparently traveling around Australia can be dangerous watch wolf creek 2, especially for backpackers..
what is minimum criteria for job in electrical field in 2018 for australia country. please give your gentle reply as soon as possible.
Could you please make a video about how to make a resume for a working holiday in Australia or show yours as an example please?
Is Graphic Designer or Illustrator gonna be easy to get a job in Australia?
i am in Melbourne, its bloody hard to find a job here.
thank you....do not stress.....you rock.....
I’m not going to lie I went with the Global Work and Travel Co, they promised unlimited job interviews and tbh every time I moved around to different places, they had 3/4 interviews already waiting obviously it is then up to you to do well

This "You must have experience" breaks my heart. Well it's a fact, employers just want profit and reputation, we freshmen dont have a chance.
hello, I am graduated of veterinary sciences from COlombia , I am looking forward to go to Australia in order to master my English first and then get a job in Dairy industry ( Animal attendants, Animal technicians or Veterinary nursing) for staying there and in the future apply for a permanent visa. is it possible?
Hi.
I am Sajal Jahan. I am looking for work holiday visa of Australia.
I have some question.
1. I didnt travel any country before. The said applicant should to genuine traveler.
2. I have only SSC (10 year) certificate.
3. I am 5'4" tall.
4. I am 21 years old.
5. I have money support.
6. Do i have to manage the job first? Or i have to apply for visa first?
Am i eligible to apply for work holiday visa?
I signed up with a work abroad program. WORST IDEA EVER. it was a total scam and now I'm back in NY broke trying to find a way back to Oz :(
"Thank You", thank you very much 😎
im an Australian citizen and I can't even find a full time job.
I also know heaps of adults who went to uni and they can't even land a shitty job let alone there dream job. so I don't know what this girl is on about... talking about backpackers landing a job on the first day here.
+Matthew Schutze Being an Australian citizen has nothing to do with getting a job.
how ?! u have not any certificate? >> u have to learn something u like . no geting with out giving
letting in foreigners at too large a time is making it hard for true Australians they then bring the other family members to take the jobs left god save australia
I want to work in Australia , how to do it
First I wanna thank you so mich. This was super helpful :) I'm from the U.S., n if you go in looking for a job it literally does you no good. The managers won't ever talk to u, even if you call everybody will say it's all online cuz it literally is. So what do you do exactly when you go into a place looking for a job? Do you really wanna talk to the manager or do you just talk about ur skills n what not. I just find it weird since again. In the U.s. everything is online
I would love to come there but idont know where to start
Nice Video :) And how exactly did you get your jobs, for example in the pubs..?
Pls help me o find a job o households, caring, house keeping .I live in Africa in Tanzania. Pls help me

Is it better to find work, book flights and sort a living space etc out by yourself or is it best to get a company such as Global Work & Travel?
which city is best in Australia for easily find job
Great video, just wondering if an Oz cv is the same as a Cv over here in Britain? Or does a British Cv need tweaking? Coming over in September!
Hey Margan4562, Thats a great point and I completely forgot to mention it that yes, they do like a slightly different style over here. But I have used my UK style CV the whole time and always got jobs! =]
Hi, I've looked into some sites youve pasted in the description. Im a bit worried about when you said I cant expect to work immediately when I get to Aus. Do you mean if I apply I wont be able to start working? I am a information technology graduate with 2 yrs working experience. I am looking for opportunities to work abroad, is it difficult if I am not applying for a student visa?
There is honestly no possible way to find work in Australia. I have been looking for months and will go home soon, the job search is downright impossible here.
will u able to speak if somebody tie up ur both hands.. btw nice video & nice movements aswell ;)
My aunt have been angling for me to join her family in Australia for years. They're already citizens (family of 5 +my grandma). This is my problem though, finding a job I would be qualified with. I've only work as an outsource employee of IBM here in the Philippines for a giant international food company located mainly in North America as a technical payroll specialist. Do I really have a chance finding work in Australia? I don't see my credentials could gain me anywhere :( by the way I'm 24
I want to come Australia for any job how can I come?
Thank You .!
The best advice as an Aussie, would to go to gumtree.com.au. There are loads of odd jobs, part time work advertised. I wouldn't want a full time job whilst travelling, but a days or three work every now and then could be really helpfull.
Is it easy to get job in Australia while in your own country?
awesome videos
Hello I am planning to apply and student visa I would like to ask what courses should we take, in order to find a pathways to work in Australia.
Lol, you are just one funny fella. Everything you say I think is right! My High school Classmate's younger brother was an Electrical Engineer with 3 years experience in Electrical Design and Installation here in the Philippines. When he migrated to Australia together with his Sister, my HS classmate, they settled in Perth. Three years later he is still jobless. Most of the time they prefer Aussies as their employees over immigrants. Though there are some companies hiring immigrants there but very few in numbers. Most of the time the job postings are taken within a day after posting. He is currently applying for back packing jobs but still, most of the time they prefer Aussies or any other Western immigrants to do their jobs. I feel everyone's' struggles, Aussies or immigrants. In this world of globalization getting a job is indeed a challenge.
Hey! I read one of your posts from a while back about a horrible fruit picking scam, and im just wondering if you have any tips to avoid being scammed while trying to get the 88 days farm work? And how do we know if the farm work is authentic?
I love what you said “it is all about who you know” ;-) The true is: yes, you may get a job & still don’t know anyone in the city, but the easiest way is to connect with others! If you don’t know anyone in Australia check out all blogs, vlogs …all social media!!!. There are plenty of people ready to talk ;-)
Good luck everyone & see you in Australia!
