Yes. I added that foam because there was only a fly screen there. It's uni-filter foam. Not sure what I want/need to do there. The old foam disintegrated into the carburetor, which is why I had to remove and clean it.
And live to tell about it! Nice work on the carb! That was fun! I love the motor with that exhaust. Sedate yet explosive. It looked like it rode decent.
It rode OK for a newbie riding it!

Wait, Dave has a wife? This is news to me. The way he's running all over the country buying motorcycles and parts I just assumed he was single. She must be pretty understanding. : ) Anyone on a motorcycle that drove past that bike and didn't stop to check it out... or at least circle back around for a better view...not a real biker in my opinion. To be clear, that bike is not my scene at all, but if I passed by it, I'd stop to get a better look. It's just too funky to not inspect.
We have a deal. She can go to Disney & Universal as often as she wants and I do bike stuff. Either that or she is a Saint
