when i saw your finger running down that edge at first i was crying! If tat had been my nad it would be missing a thumb right now ahhahaha.

using a higher grit sand paper and sanding down the corners works well. but make sure you wet the belt down and continue to spray water on the glass as you sand it. otherwise the glass gets too hot and will chip. Then use a lighter grit to give it a better finish.

I think you are supposed to use water and a good sealing dust mask to avoid silicosis
