This video really caught my attention because I am planning on using FIAR for the first time this coming School year. I purchased an older edition of volume 1 just to give it a try. We love literature based learning in our house. I'm thinking I can combine my pre-K, kindergartener and second grader in volume one. My 5th grader will probably even want to listen to the books at least. And yes, I love your plan with me videos. So helpful!
I'm from Scotland! So cool to see you doing Scotland and the Highlands! 😁 Robert burns is a big thing here. We have national holiday in January celebrating him and kids in school here learn his poetry on that day. :)

We have our family subjects and Bible time right in the morning, then as my older two work on their independent work, I have an hour for five in a row and math/reading with my littles. Then they’re dismissed for the day and I work with my older two on anything they need my instruction on 😊

Does five in a row still have ornament and valentine exchange. It was so much fun to make ornaments based on the Five in a Row Books and then exchange with 10 other families.
This makes me want to try FIAR! Has anyone heard of someone doing something similar with the Peaceful Preschool curriculum? I'm attempting PP for the second time and as simple as it is I feel like I never get to all the things and never have everything I need on hand then lose momentum with it. I can never seem to remember to check a homeschool lesson plan when I'm making a grocery list 😅
