Man back when I watched this I thought this art was pretty good compared to Season 1 in the Webtoon but Season 2 in the Webtoon took the art to a new level
I started reading the manhwa because I watched the anime and I straight continue to the manhwa's season 2 without starting from beginning. You see, I am very, truly, heavily particular when it comes to artstyle. As such, the artstyle of ToG manhwa's season 2 is honestly made it possible for me to drop anytime. No matter how good a manga/manhwa is, if I cannot stand the artstyle, I will not read or continue reading it. And ToG is the one and only one webtoon that have succeeded in me ignoring my policy. This just shows how great the story is that I don't give a damn about the artstyle at all. Author has made great improvement and the ToG manhwa's artstyle has become better and better and is currently very beautiful though! :D
I used to think that the art in s1 and early s2 of the manhwa was rough and coarse. But, looking back, it really had a certain charm to it that made the artwork unique where you could tell it was drawn by SIU which s3's art is missing. Most likely because of SIU's assistants/helpers and his desire for the art to be perfect. Don't get me wrong, the new style is beautiful, but it doesn't look like Tower of God, y'know what I mean?
