I am new to crocheting I started teaching myself around the beginning of November. And this shawl is an example why I wanted to learn to crochet. I Love shawls with fringe that are colorful. Thank you so much for this beautiful design.
Question: i have tried this twice now and each time the bottom portion (section where you will make the collar) does not crochet into a V. It crochets into a straight edge which means i won’t be able to make a collar out of it. What am i doing wrong? Thank you for any help.

Thank you for this tutorial. I finished making one but not sure about the instructions on the tassels. The instructions say to put one in every space around the collar but the collar doesn't have a specific ending space. I replayed your video and it looks like your shawl has tassels in every other space around the entire shawl. I started at the back part of the collar and already it looks fuller than yours.Please tell me what I am doing wrong. Can't wait to complete this project and start wearing it. Thanks.

@@thecrochetshopbynanno Yes, I used the same size yarn, yarn strands and placed the tassels in every space across the top of the collar as your instructions suggested. Am I supposed to keep using every space down the sides as well or every other space? Really like how your shawl came out.
