Great vid as always!
Thank you, Joseph! Cheers!
So far the box has been a bit of a disappointment but as a bourbon lover I actually really liked todays pick .. best so far
I'm so glad day 21 worked for you, Robert. It's hard to create an interesting Advent Calendar and please everyone. I'm more disappointed in the app than the selection of spirits this year. Cheers!
Just discovered your channel recently and I've enjoyed going through your back catalogue of videos. I appreciate your down-to-earth laid-back approach, your Islay preferences, and your electric guitar work! Good luck with your "digital nomad" adventures. My favorite scotch is Lagavulin 16. I used to drink that exclusively but the price kept rising over the years so I've looked for alternatives. My second favorite is Bunnahabhain 12, which is more affordable but still a bit dear for a regular staple. I've settled on Bowmore 12 as my daily driver, it offers the smoke and peat of a true Islay with a reasonable assortment of more complex flavours at a very reasonable price in my Toronto location. I've ordered a Lagavulin 8, and I'll probably try an Ardbeg offering at some point based on your positive reviews. Looking forward to you posting more of your exploits. Btw, you should splurge on a better nosing glass for your Italy content even if it means gifting it to whomever moves in to the apartment after you move on. The water glass is heresy lol.
We left San Francisco in a whirlwind of chaos. I meant to take a couple of miniature Glencairn glasses, but didn't. I've bought one up for Athens, Greece trip, but decided to stick with the Airbnb supplied glass for all 24 days to keep the tastings consistent. Cheers!
This was the first time I got a strong taste at the outset--cherries. Nice flavor. I liked it. Hub went down the same path as you did. So many tasting notes it was hard to identify. You're doing well. Also, love the music, especially the guitar.
If you like cherries, I think Maker's Mark has that note right up front. Day 21 was certainly a journey. Thanks for the compliments and for enjoying my music! Here's the full video of that riff: ruclips.net/video/TdJQGtQok1E/видео.html.
Today was a good one! Hard to identify… I also got malt.
With all the new American Single Malts and experimentation, especially in Texas, it's so hard to figure out where these are from. This straight bourbon wasn't easy to figure out. Cheers!
