You can really hear the relationship between funk and old school jazz music and how one developed into the other, both originating from the same cultural background.
My three favorite instruments!
Can you post the titles of the lines you played?
You guys are awesome!
great job guys. You guys are so talented
that hat thooo yesss sf babyyyy. nice playin!
Great job. 👍👍❤️
Very Nice!
Brilliant !
Please keep on. 🙏🙏😘
thank you guys !!
What kind of mics are you guys using? I'm working on some brass recording, and I'm looking to see what might be good for my group. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks at least like an SM or Beta-58 on the trumpet and maybe a PG57 on the trombone.. what else?
Are any of these (beside the Stevie Wonder obviously) available for use? Like... Can I use them?
Look at these guys.
Wicked!!!
Cool
Great stuff! Lick number 2 - one of my favs - thanks.
At 1:20, what is that song??
"Move On Up" by Curtis Mayfield. And Kanye West sampled it for his song "Touch the Sky."
0:35
i knew most of the licks but where are licks @0:58 and @1:44 from?
0:58 is "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin
1:44 is "Tightrope" by Janelle Monae
What is the song at 1:16?
Move on up by Curtis Mayfield
@@buddyxxx2951 thanks, have been stuck on that one for a while!
I could only hear two voices/parts in some of those lines.
In those cases, the sax and the trombone are playing in the same octave, so it only sounds like two.
+w leininger that means they're blending well
you need a better earphone
