I've activated my net jrf award at an university. But turned out the PI is a monster, he won't let his scholars work or let them go. I want to ask if I can avail any institutional jrf fellowship after resigning from ujc-jrf position. Because getting an NOC is not an option.

I've confirmed it with the senior there in IITKGP......NET and GATE is not mandatory.....
If they are having desirable marks in Masters they can still fill the form and wait to get selected for further written exam and interview.... which will be updated on the website.

Let's say I have cleared the gate as EWS category and I will remain in EWS category for this year only. Now my question is if I take admission this year will I get scholarship after 1 year? Because at that time I won't be under EWS category.

Yes but jaha b apply karoge us university ka written test clear Krna padega and that too on a average per university ka fees 1000 rehta hai man lo 5-6 university me apply karoge toh 6000 Gaye aur net hoga toh written nahi dena padega direct viva
